The folks at Solbakken were very kind and down to earth. They helped me jumpstart my car in the cold for about a half hour and were very hospitable! The cabin was cozy and had all you would need. Great stay thank you guys.

Great spot on Lake Superior! Very dog friendly. We stayed in the motel and loved that it had a nice little deck off the back to watch the lake. Will definitely come back.

Not as clean as one would like. No coffee provided in the motel with no suggestions of what one should bring or be responsible for. The room was cold even when the heater was turned up to 75. Noisy with neighbors slamming doors, could hear conversations. Ambiance OK - looking out over the Lake was nice. Bathroom very small & not updated. Not sure I'd want to stay here again.

I really enjoyed the area, being so close to the lake was really nice. The accomodations were a little rustic but the price was nice for such a pretty view. Our trip was in the winter but I bet it's idyllic in the summer.
