Thought I'd have to talk bad about what really is an excellent place; I'm very thankful Deb made things right! Let me explain - I originally booked a room with a lower rate than the other ones available, but my credit card was charged a much higher amount when I checked in. The next day I called Expedia to see if my booking was priced inaccurately on their end, but nope! Turns out Deb inadvertently booked me a more expensive room amid the slew of reservations she was handling. Realizing this after checkout, she deeply apologized and then graciously refunded me the difference. By holding herself accountable, Deb renewed my belief that most people are inherently good and just doing their best! The rest of my experience was lovely (yummy breakfast, plenty of snacks, hot shower, great night's sleep, etc.). Largely thanks to Deb, I'd definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Pierre!

Great home away from home

very nice room and comfortable bed. Deb, the owner, was very friendly and helpful at check in and gave dinner suggestions and even gave lotion when I asked where I could buy some. Shower was very nice and breakfast was cooked to order in the morning. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful bed and breakfast! The owner was warm, welcoming, gracious, and very accommodating. Our room and bathroom was large, very clean (the entire home was), and comfortable. There is a beautiful second floor deck to relax on. Breakfast was cooked to order by the owner and was delicious. The extra details; water,pop, snacks, special soaps/shampoos, extra towels, and a beautifully set table for breakfast made our stay even more special. We would return to Pierre just to stay at this property!
