Wouldn't recommend.
the good: Easy parking. Lots of hooks on the walls and even a couple of hangers. Felt safe enough as it's just other skiers staying there. Fridge that you don't need in the winter, but might in warmer weather. the bad: Pretty beat up. Lumpy bed where the headboard noisily bangs the wall if you try to shift in your sleep, crusty blanket that you don't want touching your body, cracked tiles, a very tiny (8") space heater that does not adequately heat the drafty and poorly insulated room, not great water pressure, but at least the water gets hot. When the room got too cold, we turned on the shower to heat up the place. the ugly: no soap in the bathroom. Overall, even Motel 6 is a gazillion times better than this beat up place. Pay the extra few bucks and stay elsewhere or drive in from Bishop.

Nice place but our room was very small. One side of the queen size bed was against the wall and the mattress was very hard. But the place is nice.

The bed was warm and reasonably comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Which are the absolute minimal acceptable conditions. So on that note it served its purpose. Other than that it was bottom line basic. Needs a few comforts like a comfortable chair, a bedside table and the remote for the TV. We felt it was overpriced for the time of year and condition of the property.

The property was not as it described. It was mentioned 5099sqf but it was too small for 5099sqf it was looking around 1000sqf. The entrance door lock was broken we couldn’t make to leave the cabin open and go for walk. next time hope they first fix the issue then rent the property.

We stayed in Suite 2. I do not recommend this suite as if anyone is staying suite upstairs you will hear all of their movements, and not because they are loud but only because of the creaking floors. I would recommend staying on the top floor if possible. The location is nice, it is not a far drive to restaurants and shops. Mammoth is stunning. There is not a DVD player as advertised. I did contact the staff at the property and they said a DVD player was not an option. They did not seem bothered that it was falsely advertised. The tv in the space is not a smart tv and only has a limited amount of channels that worked. This was disappointing because after a long day of being outdoors we were looking forward to relaxing next to the fire with the movies we brought. Attention to detail in the space was lacking, the ice trays in the freezer were empty, the remote had dead batteries, there was no paper/kindling to start the fire. To access the bathroom you have to walk through the bedroom, just something to be aware of for privacy if staying with multiple people. All in all, a cute little place but not one we’d be interested in staying at again.

Cabin 9. What a great place to get away to. Quiet, comfortable, well maintained and cozy. We had a wonderful week here, we’d go back in a second. A stones throw away from everything, absolutely perfect!!
