Ah, could be a better experience
The hotel ran an hour late to let us check in. That was a bit annoying. The hotel is charming but the rooms are extremely small. The beds are extremely comfortable. The only window view we had was of the small courtyard. It felt a bit claustrophobic. The tv in the room was hanging by a thread and ultimately required fixing by the hotel staff and my husband. It still did not work after all was said and done. The hotel's included breakfast was delicious. No complaints there. We treated ourselves to a couples massage and the masseuses were wonderful, however the spa room was right newr an open window from the main road in which you heard the motorcycles and street traffic throughout the massage. Definitely not as relaxing as one may like. The hotel staff tries to be accommodating but everything seems to be more complex then it needs to be. Such as requesting bottles of water...they need to run it by this person to get it from this person. Simple things! And finally, there is an elderly man who lives near by but has adopted this hotel as his own hang out. He likes to play music and his phone pretty loud in the mornings in the middle of the courtyard with no regard for the paying guests. The hotel shoudl really manage that situation better.
