This was a true find…1/2 hour from airport with an hourly shuttle bus, clean room with a comfy bed, but the best was the onsite restaurant (necessary, because there is nothing around) and craft brewery, open late.

Terrible location, poor service, inconvenient bus
The room is average quality and comfort, although slightly more spacious than you would expect for the price. The bathroom is slightly above average. Those are the only positives. The hotel is located in an industrial estate ~20 mins from the airport. A free shuttle bus is provided but only in the morning and evenings. You may be waiting up to 60 mins for the shuttle bus if you are unlucky with timing. The only option for food is the hotel restaurant which was acceptable but not great. The service from the hotel and restaurant staff was very poor and soured my experience. You should only consider this hotel if you are arriving on an evening flight, have only a single night layover, and the price is significantly cheaper than other alternatives. I had a 2 day layover and chose this hotel because of the positive rating - this was a mistake. Due to the lack of amenities nearby, I was forced to plan my days' activities around the shuttle bus schedule, which does not run between 10:30am and 4:20pm. Furthermore the last bus from the airport is at 10:20pm, so if you have a late arrival you will be forced to take a taxi to the hotel - and the restaurant would already be closed so your only food options will be a vending machine in the lobby.

A very unpleasant experience.
I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel during a business trip to Kelsterbach. On the first night, I jumped into the bed and felt something crawling on me. I notice there were bugs in the bed. I went to complain at reception and was told there were no available rooms so I could not switch rooms. There was no offer to deal with the bugs in my bed. I had to strip the bed myself and kill 6 bugs before remaking it. I was unable to get any sleep that night. The next day my room was changed and the rest on my trip was pleasant.

The staff was really helpful. I found really useful that they had adaptors available as I didn't have one, so I was able to charge my phone. I would have preferred if the hotel had shampoo and conditioner, instead of just one gel for body and hair. Maybe putting charging points in the room would be helpful as everyone needs to charge their phones and there were not that many adaptors available.

Affordable but dependent on shuttle service
This is an affordable and clean place. However, you are dependent on their shuttle bus to get there and back. It takes a break during the middle of the day - when we arrived. It costs us e35 for a taxi to get there (the alternative was to wait 3 hours). The shuttle only runs every hour. It would also be a good idea to share where at the airport the shuttle arrives before checking in.

Comfortable but in an odd location
This was listed as an airport hotel. It was quite a distance from the airport, in an industrial park with no restaurants in walking distance. The on-site restaurant/bar were already closed when we arrived. Check-in was at a kiosk - I think there was a staff person somewhere but we didn't need assistance. The bed was very comfortable but the room was too warm and I couldn't turn on a/c - called the desk and was told nothing could be done then. I mentioned it the next day and was told there is no a/c, only heat. Breakfast was good and we were amused by the robot-busser rolling around. One final point: the free shuttles to/from Frankfurt run once/hr, there is no service from the hotel after 10:30 am until 4 pm; and from the airport none after 11 am until 4:20 pm.
