good little hotel, great value for money
took a while to find our booking when we arrived but then we got upgraded to a room on the 2nd floor so we had a great view over the lake. room was clean but water in taps was dirty, man on reception fixed this quickly, something to do with the tanks. breakfast was good!

Excellent
The hotel is amazing, set amount the rice paddy fields. The staff were incredible, we went on safari on our first morning there, one of the staff woke up at 3am to make us breakfast and lunch to take with us, as our pick up was 4:30am. We ate there both nights and the food was fantastic, I can’t speak highly enough of the place.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Terrasse und sehr gutem Frühstück. Lage direkt am See, mit dem Tuktuk ist es nicht weit in die Stadt. Leider hört man die Straße nachts ein wenig.

Room for improvement but excellent location
Location is very good for exploring surroundings and waiting for safari. At least 2 bicycles available, though in bad condition. Bathroom door broken, some staff with weird attitude. Manager cant tell much of the safaris or is unwilling to do it. Got external safari provider, the hotel made us takeaway breakfast for 4 a.m. Our stay would have been excellent with small adjustements to service.

Wir fanden es super. Das Servicepersonal ist den Gästen sehr zugewandt ohne aufdringlich zu sein und hat hilfreiche Tipps oder unterstützt bei der Tagesplanung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön groß. Unseres hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf den See. Das Hotel liegt umgeben von Reisfeldern und sehr ruhig, ein Stück ab von der Lake Road. Das Rice und Curry ist zum Niederknien. Mit Abstand das beste Essen, das wir in Sri Lanka gegessen haben. Die Besitzerfamilie kann zu Recht sehr stolz auf dieses Hotel sein. Wir sind sehr traurig darüber, dass wir hier nur für zwei Nächte waren. Sollte es uns jemals wieder nach Sri Lanka treiben, werden wir auf jeden Fall hier eine Woche All inklusive buchen.
