Quick getaway
Just a quick overnight stay to St. George Island. The Buccaneer was a perfect stop and it’s right on the beach. The staff is great. The rooms are a little dated but clean. You can walk to restaurants and shops too. I would definitely come back!

The front desk service was very kind and helpful. The room was fine nothing fancy but met our needs for the night. I have never been in a hotel room that had diner booth in it. The water was HOT and the water pressure superb. Beach was easily and safely accessed

Just improve the cleaning the tubs there was a line all over the tub I'm not sure if can be cleaned or is aged marks, you could have couple.more tables out and maybe if is not to much sun beds. We are very happy thanks.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE
How bathroom light and toilet seat was broken. The place was disgusting for the amount of money I spent on 3 rooms. The employees were rude to the wedding party/ guests. There was dog crap right outside our door and on the stairwell. Will not recommend or be back to the Buccaneer Inn.

The Buccaneers is a nice place to stay for a long weekend. It’s right on the ocean and has a nice swimming pool and you could walk to the green parrot which is the best restaurant / bar in the area.

Liked the 70's vintage architecture! All concrete and concrete block for all exterior and interior walls, thus no sound problems and obviously very strong in light of hurricane risks. Built like a fortress. Great ocean, sun rise/set views.
