Christmas at Yuzawa Naspa Otani hotel
We chose the junior suite overlooking the mountain and ski slopes for our 4-day/3-night christmas trip. This hotel is right at the start of the slopes and offers every comfort for a short skiing trip: all rental gear you can imagine and especially free ski lift package for hotel guests.

Great hotel
The junior suite room was spacious, and the hot spring was great. Great staff. Breakfast was served buffet-style, and it was good. However, since I visited during the off-season, their restaurant was closed for dinner.

Check in was at 3pm, check out was at 10am. Staff does not allow even 30 minutes late check out, asking that we buy 1hr late check out at 2000yen. Breakfast was at 7am to 9am. Basic breakfast. If you are there at 830am, you need to take out the breakfast, take out box is provided by the hotel. We were there earlier, before the snow park opened. Staff was not too helpful with recommendations of other snow amenities that we can do. In the end, we found Echigo Yuzawa Ropeway on our own, which is a short walk (5 mins from hotel). Absolute fun - you sit a cable car up, and then the view.on top is breathing taking and there's a good Italian restaurant up there. The bathhouse and onsens are great. Decent size and comfortable and clean. There was a child-size snow sledge for kids, which is quite fun (even though the ski park was not opened when we were there).

Hotel seems old and in need of some overhaul. It is obvious that the COVID experience has had a major affect on operations. Most of the restaurants and other on-site venues are non-operational. The air conditioning in the rooms need work... I woke up sweating both nights of our stay. Otherwise, friendly and helpful staff and we somewhat enjoyed our stay.

On field hotel located close to station
Hotel is situated only a few minutes from Echigo-Yuzawa station by a regular hotel shuttle bus. Hotel is situated at the base of the skifield. Very convenient for families and novice skiers. Accommodation is getting a bit dated but the service is excellent and the buffet style breakfast and dinners are substantial offering both Japanese and Western cuisine. Also has a spacious onsen which was very nice.

The hotel is convenient as a ski-in ski-out place if you are intending to spend time at the NASPA ski garden which is just beside it (good for 2-3 days but probably not for 5 days as there are not many courses). Rooms are a little dated but otherwise they are of a good size and well maintained. Hotel has a nice onsen with both outdoor and indoor pools. Service was decent and there was always someone able to provide assistance in English. Hotel has a shuttle bus service to the main Echigo-Yuzawa train station every 20 - 30 minutes and takes around 5 minutes to reach there.

Great resort, but disappointed.
The room is spacious. Great ski resort for beginners and family. A bit disappointed when the housekeeper forgot to clean out the garbage can, when we were paying almost $500 per night. The shuttle bus driver also broke our luggage. Not worth the amount of money we were paying.

Comfotable stay with amazing views
Basic 80s style hotel but clean and comfortable. Futon was not comfortable as it was too thin. Had to request for another one to be place on top of existing one so it becomes thicker and softer. It was not peak season and snow had just fallen. The views were beautiful and we had the whole snow park to ourselves! Japanese breakfast was great but from 7 to 9am only - too short & closes too early! Was looking forward to use the onsen but was closed for cleaning for 6 hours! By then we had to check-out. Disappointed :(

越後湯澤滑雪2025
1.交通 飯店的交通非常便利 飯店本身有提供到越後湯澤車站的接駁車 從到車站就可以搭乘到飯店 平時滑完雪 想要用餐也可以利用接駁車到車站來回 最後一天退房後 也可以接駁到車站離開 另外走路大約3分鐘左右就有雪場的免費接駁巴士站可以到各大雪場 由於是起始站 所以不用擔心沒有位子可以坐 2.飯店設施 由於我有加購早餐 所以每天早上就可以輕鬆的吃完早餐再出發去滑雪 早餐的選擇很多 有日式 西式 最重要的是有生菜 在日本菜類的食物真的比較難攝取到 所以早餐可以提供實在是很理想 比較有特色的是有鬆餅 可以淋上糖漿吃 算是比較特別的供應 因為我是一個人入住 所以房間是給兩張單人床 還有一張沙發 空間我是覺得很夠用 也有提供蠻多的衣架 因為每次滑完雪 裝備衣物都需要掛起來晾乾 廁所也有免治馬桶 飯店有溫泉可以使用 是非常大的浴池 也有按摩池 冷水池等不同的選擇 每天滑完雪是很疲勞的 所以有溫泉可以恢復身體狀況是很重要的 我每天都會使用 有時候還會使用兩次 飯店也有提供洗衣機跟烘衣機 數量也是很夠 3.單板滑雪 因為我是滑單板的 飯店是禁止將單板帶到房間內的 所以當我入住的時候 就需要將單板在大廳從板袋取出 交給工作人員放至儲物空間 然後會給號碼牌 每天都需要重複這個動作 早上取出雪板 滑完存雪板 飯店是有提供帶鎖的置物櫃 但可能是給雙板用的 空間不夠 所以只能用飯店的方式放置雪板 最後一天要離開的時候 也需要在前一晚將板袋打包好 然後將雪板取出 裝進板袋 再請工作人員將板袋存放至儲物空間 隔天早上退房後 就可以領板袋 然後出發去車站 4.總結 以這樣的空間跟價位來說 我個人覺得是相當物超所值的 畢竟滑雪運動本來就是相當高的消費 在提供便利性跟付出多一點的金額對我來說是可以接受的 因為我一個雪季也只會出國一次 所以對我來說是相當適合的飯店選擇
