I only booked 3 hours before arrival. They missed that. Therefore - upon arrival - the hotel was dark and seemed deserted. Found an open door, went inside, switched on some lights, and called. After 10 minutes another resident answered. He called the landlord, and 30 minutes later we were in our room. Wifi was advertised but did not work properly. Connection only within 1 foot from the entrance to one of the two rooms - the other had none. That is not sufficient.

We particularly liked our accomodation which was spacious and comfortable. The property as a whole was very sympathetically restored and Our host was attentive and very helpful. We had breakfast everyday which included some hot dishes in an 'enriched' continental style. We dined here on one occasion and found the food to be of high quality and delicious. The menu consisted of only two choices (changed weekly) otherwise we would have eaten here more often
