3 stars - little disappointed

Let’s start with the positive first. The rooms were amazing. Exactly as they look in the picture. The pool in the room was amazing and had an excellent background view. However, a couple of things were really disappointing. If you are a picky eater this is NOT the place for you. They only have 1 restaurant (even though their site says that they have 3) and the food options are really limited. They only have 3 options and some options are as simple as a “chicken wrap” for lunch. Throughout the whole meal you have to fight all the mosquitoes trying to get into your food, birds flying a couple of inches away from you (not the cute birds) and cats wondering around (even though I think they are cute it just removed elegance from the moment). The “beach” is really small body of water and nobody could go in because it was all covered with seaweed making it dark and unpleasant. We just went to sit and observe it and that was all our beach experience in that place. Lastly, you need to know you are in the middle of nowhere. No stores to walk to for food, items or anything really. So if you forgot something, or you didn’t like the menu options
 it’s over.

The room was great...the pool is the draw for sure. Bathroom shower heads need to be updated and a shelf or bar should be incorporated. Service at only dining area needs improvement. You dont get All-inclusive vibes from this resort as it is al carte. The beach is accessible by boat or walking...it's cool, there is limited bar there.

The actual property and room Is amazing as it shows butttt the location is very far from Everything. You need a cab to go anywhere and they start at about 50 usd. It not in walking distance to anything. Very limited food. No room service . The service was basic . The excursions are extremely over priced and the place appears empty. We heard coco bay resort was better but no adult only. It is very peaceful and quiet .

The property was absolutely gorgeous. If you’re looking for tranquility, I would highly recommend. My husband and I had a great time. Our room was amazingly beautiful. We felt safe, comfortable, and free. This resort is adults only and we conversed with other couples. It’s not a party atmosphere. Resort is more of a memorable time with your love one. Quality time is important and this resort made it happen. Highly recommend.

Our week at Escape was very relaxing and peaceful. The staff at this resort were excellent and always friendly and helpful! We never had to wait for pool loungers, often had the beach to ourselves, and it was so nice and quiet. If you’re looking to spend a week recharging in the sun with your partner in a serene atmosphere, Escape is the perfect destination for you.

My fiancée and I had an absolutely flawless week at the Escape resort, wanting to make sure we document this as a recommendation for other travellers. Let me begin by saying that, owing to the fact that I selected the resort as the place I would make my proposal, it will now have a special place for me and my fiancée personally - we're already talking about a future visit. This wouldn't be the case were it not for the exceptional care and assistance given by staff in helping me arrange various extras (private dining, picnic trips, snorkelling etc). If you want a place that will help with arranging such experiences look no further. Regarding activities, you'll always find space at the main pool, and the personal pool really is a nice touch. Kayaking is free and good fun, and we cannot recommend the snorkelling excursion offered by the resort more highly - fantastic value compared to what you'll find offered online elsewhere on the island and we caught some stunning snaps of turtles ( other marine life). Food and beverages offered were all great. Can't for the life of me understand any past reviews on here about portion sizes, as if you needed more you could simply ask for it! The fact that everything is offered a la carte actually improves the quality I would argue. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend booking your stay at the Escape, and would like to thank the staff there for helping provide such a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning at some point!

Not worth the money

This hotel came recommended by a friend who visited during Covid. When I arrived I was not impressed. The pool that is advertised is not the same pool at the resort. The all-inclusive is a joke. There’s only one restaurant that serves a la carte, not buffet so you can have a variety. The portions are small and the food not too great. The birds at breakfast were overwhelming. The dining servers caters to the European first, regardless of was seated first. We witnessed that twice. Maxine was the best server. The room was just okay. It can be a little more modern. The spa was the worst I’ve ever been to. The massage was so rough and hard from the beginning. I left feeling worst than what I did in the beginning, $300 wasted. The private poolside dinner was a waste. We were served steak, mashed potatoes and veggies. The quality of the food was not 4star quality. We nippled off of it and left 75% of it. The beach you have to take a shuttle and it’s very small with a lot of seaweed. The resort is 45 minutes from everything which is very far. We left a day early to stay at another resort and decided to extend our stay there by two days to make up the time we lost at Escape. Escape declined to return our fee for the one night. The resort needs a pool makeover, a different all inclusive dining option, more activities and better spa options.

The Escape at Nonsuch Bay is such a quiet and intimate place. The staff is excellent and everything is super clean. The resort is very quiet as well. There is 1 bar, 1 community pool, and 1 restaurant on the resort. We also book excursions through the resort and used the laundry department and even had a great message!

My wife and I stayed here from March 8-14. The hotel is adults only. I like the fact that this is a boutique style hotel. The rooms are very nice and private, great for those who want to spend time alone. If you are looking for a live and upbeat pace type of place this is not for you. No parties or anything of that nature. They do have live music that comes in but that's as far as it goes.The staff are all top notch, they all will go above and beyond to help you out if needed. There are only a few things that I think that keeps this hotel from being even better than it is. For the workout buffs there is no gym. One thing is there is no late night dining, after the kitchen closes that's it for the night unlike bigger all inclusive hotels that you can get room service all day and night ,and there is no place nearby open that will deliver anything. The Antiguan breakfast is served only on Sundays, it's delicious and should be on the menu daily. The lunch bites are were always good and the drinks are on point.There is no buffet for food choices as in most all inclusives, but the menu does change on a daily basis. If you are not satisfied, the chef will try and accommodate you best he can. I did enjoy the food, you are able to order multiple items on the menu(suggested) sometimes the portions are just enough to satisfy you. All in all I would recommend this hotel. It's a bit far from the rest of town but you should enjoy your stay.

It was an ok experiance I would say the location deserves a 6.9 out of 10. The staff was very slow. Everyone was kind and friendly. The biggest issue was the food. It was average at best. I payed 37.50 for the lobster upgrade and they only brought me out half a lobster tail. I asked for the whole tail and they said that’s how the lobster is served. Just didn’t not appreciate that. Also it was my birthday and I mentioned it and not even a happy birthday did I receive. Would not recommend to other people. One and done experience,

I stayed here for 5 days on a solo vacation and I had a wonderful time. The property itself is beautiful and I felt like I was staying in a treehouse. The area is so lush and green which I loved.
