Upscale for great price
The Tryp is a great hotel! I was there over a weekend but I never saw the restaurant/bar open so not sure what that was about. I would check with the desk to see if they'll be open if you are looking to eat there. Pretty room and great accommodations. No fridge though!!! ( I would personally like a fridge more than a microwave, which they do have).

Overall, I had a great experience. Great location. Clean room. Great staff. the hotel was busy, but i was never bothered by noise or commotion, and it was New Years Eve. I recommend staying here for anyone with a pet too. Very easily walkable and you are literally in the middle of everything in Lawrenceville.

Gross
There was piss in our toilet when we entered the room at check in. The lady at the front said she'd have someone reach out and never did. I'd like some type of compensation or a refund. There was trash in the room also. I have pictures of everything. I also forwarded them to the front desk employee at the time of check in.

Very interesting history of the site. Noted by blueprints and photographs in lobby, but no explanations. So much could be made of this history, but almost no explanation. We also had a lot of trouble mirroring the TV screen. Lots of litter surrounding the building. Very interesting venues on Butler St, especially Public Industry brew house.

Nice hotel
My husband and I had a nice stay at TRYP. The hotel is updated and modern looking, had a nice bar and coffee bar as well. My only real complaint is that the bathroom door in the room doesn't fully close- it's a sliding door that leaves a gap regardless of how you slide it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, though, and would stay again if we were in the area.

I did not think I will stay here again, the rooms there were very small for the price I paid, and the bathroom was in the strangest position. The coffee machine was dirty inside, but other than that the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. It was just very cramped and no space, and the bathroom too much in the room. i would not recommend it.

Take no tryp here
I had read that the rooms were small but I was really surprised at just how small! The rooftop bar was not open the night we stayed because of a wedding. It is so noisy that they actually have ear plugs for you to use for a good nights sleep (which you will need). Plus the employees and pals were out in the parking lot swearing, smoking pot and yelling (more than once when we came and went). It is conveniently located if you want to be in Lawrenceville.
