About this villa

Come stay at this amazing Piton and ocean view location right down the road from the highly acclaimed Jade Mountain Resort and the Anse Chastanet beach, known for its excellent diving and snorkeling. This cozy and romantic tree house-inspired villa is especially designed to take in the amazing views of the iconic Pitons and St Lucia’s unique lush tropical environment. Located between the popular Anse Chastanet beach and resort and Soufriere town, this one bedroom, one bath villa with kitchen comes with a very welcoming staff, refreshing private and natural salt plunge pool, and lush tropical gardens that are certain to delight. The villa is close to Soufriere town and a number of popular attractions in the area.

Covid-19 Note: Since November, 2020 both of our Treehouse Villas are Covid-19 certified with the St. Lucia government and we have been actively hosting guests. Our guests just need to register with the St. Lucia tourism web site and follow the official guidelines of travel to the island.

This fully furnished and recently remodeled small villa is your home away from home. It's now a designer's showcase. It provides the perfect location for enjoying one of the most popular areas in St. Lucia. The unique and open architecture of the treehouse allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open deck, enjoying the sweeping views, feeding the birds, and dining on the freshest local food, some right from the garden or direct from the neighborhood.

The entire villa has been renovated and now features a wonderful chef's kitchen with views of the pitons (the only one we know of in the area), a river-themed tiki bar for hanging out and enjoying the views and great vibes, beautiful hand crafted wood lighting throughout, new bedroom with handmade arts and crafts king bed, a new bathroom complete with vessel sink and rain shower, and a salt plunge pool with ample room and lots of privacy for enjoying the Caribbean sun. The villa has been rebuilt in a timeless "treehouse arts and crafts" style with lots of art for our guests to enjoy.

This is the perfect small villa to enjoy a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa II, which sleeps 4. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you need for your wonderful stay.

The owners have long time connections to the island. They spend a lot of time on the island and can help you with all of your unique planning needs. Our goal at the Treehouse villas is to make sure that you can have the perfect local experience and enjoy your stay in ways that you can't by staying at one of the resorts.

The villa comes with a complete staff that is available to make sure that you can have the best possible experience in the area. The house manager, Charmaine, is known all throughout the area as the "queen" of hospitality and staying at the Treehouse allows you to enjoy local meals that are expertly prepared by her team. Charmaine can also help you plan your trip and help you with booking any of the popular activities, from climbing the Gros Piton to hiking the famous Tet Paul Trail to snorkeling and diving adventures to sunset sailing around the Pitons to visiting local area artists to dining at the top resorts, hotels

and local restaurants.

The bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, new air conditioner (if you need it), and plenty of closet space to store your clothes and belongings. You'll also find a smart tv. In the living area you'll find a futon couch (that can also be used for sleeping) and an entertainment area that provides a music system, and full wifi that works nicely throughout the property, and a safe for storing your valuables.

The new kitchen now features high ceiling, lots of ventilation for working, a nice bar, and much more counter space for cooking up local, tasty treats. It is all set up with the tools, utensils, and appliances that you'll need including a fridge, full gas stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, and more.

New food delivery: We also now offer a grocery shopping service and a custom meal delivery service (Charmaine's Creole Kitchen) for our guests. You can order groceries or complete lunches and/or dinners. This is a good way to experience the excellent local cuisine.

Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II

The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. It's designed for a single traveler, a couple, or a couple and a guest. The Treehouse II villa is a little larger with a top and bottom floor. It's a perfect villa for a couple or two couples, sharing a special time together. The kitchen in Treehouse II is a bit larger and futures more working space and appliances. Both Treehouses come with their own private plunge pools and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family.

So leave your cares behind and come stay in the romantic, nature-inspired treehouse in one of the best locations in St. Lucia and enjoy the views your friends back home will wish they could experience too!

Great house, amazing view and perfect location!

We absolutely loved the Treehouse for our visit to St Lucia. We have been to St Lucia several times before but this was our first time staying in the Soufriere region. We found that the Treehouse’s location was perfect for all of our adventures in that area. The house is located just a short drive from two beautiful beaches (you can walk but it is a long, hot walk back up the hill to the house after your day on the beach!) - Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin. Arrive early at Anse Chastanet to rent one of the public tiki umbrellas and lounge chairs or bring along the chairs provided by the Treehouse. The view from the Treehouse is beautiful and the gardens and pool are incredibly well kept. Charmaine is amazing and will help you out with whatever you need. She arranged a sunset cruise for us on our last night with Mystic Man Tours, a great way to cap off our vacation. On Valentine’s Day we returned home to a card and candy on our bed - such a nice touch. Additionally, the meal she provided for us on our first day was delicious. The road by the Treehouse is a little busy with resort traffic but nothing too crazy that would take away from your experience. The neighborhood above the treehouse is quiet and allows for a steep, somewhat challenging walk to the top for a stunning view of the Pitons, Soufriere and the ocean. Well worth the walk and helps you work off some of the Piton beer you drank during your vacation! We loved sitting on the deck of the Treehouse feeding and watching the birds, hanging out with Cocoa the cat (so sweet!) and watching the changing weather over the beautiful Pitons. If you are adventurous, we recommend hiking Gros Piton - it is a fairly difficult hike but you are provided with a very knowledgeable guide to keep you going. The view over the rainforest and ocean from the top is beyond amazing. We also would recommend the jungle biking tour at Anse Mamin, the old plantation grounds and vegetation are beautiful and the trails have a little something for everyone - from easy to challenging. We also hiked the Tet Paul trail for another beautiful view of the Pitons. There are lots of great restaurants in the area - we enjoyed Orlando’s and burgers at Anse Mamin- and you can also grill at the Treehouse for a relaxing evening in. The drive to the Pink Plantation for lunch is definitely worth it - mouthwatering food and a great setting - our favorite! All in all, it was a perfect vacation and we hope to return very soon!

    Absolutely AMAZING!

Oh man, this place is absolutely incredible! Charmaine and her staff took excellent care of us. The driver, Livinius, was also a phenomenal guide and was kind enough to take great pictures of us at the sulfur springs and waterfall. Charmaine's home cooking is super delicious! My boyfriend, now fiance, proposed while we stayed here and they made it extra special for us. The treehouse villa has a great view of the pitons and is super private. It's close to town and beaches too. Havinh a private pool and outdoor space was so relaxing when we weren't enoying the rocking chairs on the back deck. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Can't wait to come back. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Loved this quiet peaceful place so so much!

    Loved it!

Keith was awesome pre-trip providing lots of details and answering questions, and Charmaine was so helpful and welcoming once we arrived. Treehouse Villa I was a unique experience, we really felt immersed in nature. It was so relaxing to pass time on the deck enjoying the views and feeding the birds. For being so exposed to the elements it’s amazingly clean and well maintained. I am a mosquito magnet and I really didn’t find the bugs bad at all. A really memorable stay overall.

    Enjoying Paradise at Treehouse Villa

Our week's stay at the Treehouse Villa I was simply glorious! Owner Keith's information packet on the Villa, the neighborhood and island activities was invaluable. The hospitality staff, Charmaine and her team (especially Chrisel, Sharon and Clavey for us), went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay just right. Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and my birthday was a joy at the Villa, as the team makes those occasions even more special with surprising and personal touches! Settled on a hill between the beach (Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin) and Soufriere on grounds which are a veritable botanical garden, the open air, beautiful teak wood Villa (with newly upgraded amenities including bedroom A/C) complete with shaded private plunge pool and sweet resident cat Cocoa is perfect for a stay in paradise!

    Beautiful views and fantastic hospitality

Our vacation at the Treehouse Villa I was wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed the openness of the floor plan and the views, flora and birds in the garden off the deck. Charmaine, the Hospitality Manager, was the perfect hostess. She checked on us regularly, arranged a Sunset Cruise for us, prepared a special meal, and suggested places for dining. Cocoa, the resident cat, was a comfortable companion. We wish we could have extended our stay and definitely will be back.

    Above the canopy in Soufriere

While the island of St. Lucia welcomes you with sections of lush vegetation, varied topography, expansive ocean views and episodes of liquid sunshine, in the Treehouse Villa you will be able to feast on all of the above in the comfort of a beautifully designed hideaway. The Villa's hosts have clearly mastered the art of accommodating their guests while allowing you to feel the privacy you would expect of your own home and the convenience of being so close to one of the most picturesque and iconic towns in the island... You will regret not staying here.

    Fantastic value and location

We only spent a couple nights at the Treehouse before moving on to another location near Soufriere, but this was an amazing location. The Owners were very flexible and helpful with our travel arrangements. The property manager, Charmaine, is a gem. She is extremely helpful with answering any questions and arranging transport/adventures. The owners sent us a welcome letter with very in depth information about the Treehouse, the surrounding town, restaurants, and locations to visit. Each with a little description. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful this was - not just at our time at the treehouse, but also during our stay at other locations around Soufriere. I highly recommending spending some time at the Treehouse. The location is very convenient to the town of Soufriere and Anse Chastanet beach. Good facilities. Great king sized bed. Private and beautiful.

A perfect place to stay in St Lucia

The treehouse 1 is a great home base to explore Soufriere and the surrounding area. Charmaine will take care of all your needs. From a lovely welcome dinner to arranging transportation to helping with helpful hints all week- we really appreciated her assistance. The home is an open air plan tropical hideaway. It suited our needs for cooking, as we are vegan and do not eat out much while on vacation. Charmaine made a great meal for us the first night. The kitchen is fully equipped and their is soap and shampoo/conditioner. Bug spray is also provided, its needed on your legs while at the beach. We did not feel bothered by bugs while at the Treehouse but we did burn a mosquito coil at night. The bed is really comfortable and we slept great. We enjoyed the resident cat Coco who is very polite and will hang out with you only if you give her a “I love cats” vibe. The beach is a 10 min walk though the walk back is all uphill. We visited several times and took the beach chair once. Anse Mamin beach bar offers a good veggie burger. We walked up the hill to overlook the town and walked into town several times. We also walked to the Diamond botanical gardens and mineral bath, its about a 45 min hike. The groceries in town are more than enough for basic provisions, we found some great bread and corn cake in a tiny shop near the police station. Just ask Charmaine for any hints or special needs. We will be booking again for next year!

    Perfect Getaway

My time spent at the Treehouse was comforting and yet full of adventure and fun. I was actively experiencing the island throughout the days and at night enjoyed this cozy exotic treehouse. It was spacious, the AC was amazing, and if I needed anything Ms. Charmaine was ready and available to assist. My taxi was always ready and waiting on me, groceries (if needed) were easily accessed. I never wanted to leave to come back to reality! The owners promptly responded to each and every message I sent them and that helped me be able to truly have such a full experience at St. Lucia. I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to spend New Years here! I recommend this place to everyone!

    Lovely Honeymoon at the Treehouse

My husband and I had such a beautiful experience in Saint Lucia for our honeymoon. The folks that tend to the property are extremely helpful and always friendly; also very respectful of any privacy we needed. The property itself is incredible and very well maintained. The owner, Keith, was extremely responsive and also very helpful - would loved to have him in person! We are already looking at the possibility of coming back for another visit...so hard to leave. We will definitely be back to the Treehouse I.
