Not great. Not bad. Just fair

I've stayed here a few times. It's a good stop for it's location, but the building is starting to get a little older and in need of repair in a few spots. The bathrooms could be cleaner, for sure... Not a fan of mold, soap scum and hair in the showers. Had a couple times where the room didn't have hot eater. The Texas Steakhouse next door is pretty terrible, too. Probably eat elsewhere.

Going downhill and roomwas dirty.

We've ataywd at this location 3-5 times a year for over 20 years. They've been remodeling for about 3 years, but it never seems to improve. This visit, we checked in and Anthony was wonderful. Excellent service, friendly, so polite. We put out luggage in the room and left, as I had a speaking engagement. We returned around 11pm, very tired. That's when we really noticed how dirty the room was. Drywall dust was everywhere, the bathroom floor had pieces of drywall, a sugar packet, and dirt. The shower drain had a wad of hair from whoever had stayed there last. We were too exhausted to change rooms, so we stayed, but we notified the front desk this morning at checkout. She apologized, but didn't seem concerned that we were upset.

Hotel stay

The stay was good, but not great. The pool has a chemical imbalance that left my child’s eyes a bit irritated ( more than normal). The place was undergoing some renovations, so I’m sure that factored into some of the cleanliness issues. All in all, not bad. Not the best Hampton Inn we have stayed at, but better than any other chain we’ve stayed at.

VERY UNSAFE entering the Hotel ,Tile work was being done & hato walk over area with tile install pieces stiking up 1-2 inches ,a VERY big trip HAZARD !! When I checked in gave them my name &was NEVER asked for ANY kind of Identification !!

Great Stay

I didn't give highest marks on two items because of your chaotic and dusty remodeling project. Although the lobby was a "wreck" and the halls were dusty, our room and bathroom were clean and well appointed. Desk and breakfast staff were delightful! We understand that remodeling is necessary.

The Hampton Horror

So sorry we booked ahead without seeing our room. I expected a lot more from the Hampton Inn. The floors were disgusting paint chipped on dressers, bathroom tub rusted and stained, hand bars falling off the wall, mattress uncomfortable, mattress was sloping the foot of your bed was higher than your head. If we hadn't been traveling 12 hours and so totally exhausted with would have gone back on the road. And then to be charged $75 USD for a small dog, we are appalled and will not go to a Hampton Inn again.

Terribly dirty!!

This hotel is undergoing renovations, which is fine, but it is not fine to have a filty hotel. We walked into our room, the bathroom was filty and there was a layer of sticky scum on all surfaces. The door was dirty, and got my white shirt streaked with black grim. We asked for a different room, and the room we got was not much better, but doable for 1 night. There were dirty foot prints and handprints all over the floor and walls, especially in the elevator. Would never stay there again. Reminded me of a Motel 6. Terrible

The stuff of hotel is very helpful. The location is perfect fitting our travel purpose. The bkfst is pretty good. But the WiFi is a joke. My iPad can link to hhoner WiFi, but can’t connect to internet. I have tried in the lobby and room. Both location is the same. A side note is facility is under going remodeling of hotel rooms. I did not see this when booking. Although there is a note on elevator door allowing refund for canceling reservation, but since we were already there it’s too late to cancel. Newly remodeled bathroom leaves dust on the furnitures.

Very overpriced given hotel undergoing renovation and our room was dated. Noise from utility workers who were staying at the hotel. Rude. Loud when going to their rooms at night and they all seemed to let doors slam at 6 am when leaving. One of two elevators in service.

Avoid this Hampton Inn in Princeton

We prebooked here for two nights 12 days apart, a month in advance. There was no indication on the booking page that the hotel was under construction/renovation. As such, there was debris and dust throughout the hallway. On the first night the wifi didn't work and the front desk was unable to provide a solution. We then tried to cancel our second reservation four days ahead of our booked night and the hotel refused to cancel indicating the cancellation fee would be 100% the amount of the room cost. When we grudgingly showed up at the hotel on the 2nd stay, there were signs posted saying if we were unhappy with all the renovation work we could cancel for a full refund. BUT THEY ORIGINALLY DECLINED AND WE WERE ALREADY THERE!!! We have happily stayed at Hampton Inns across Canada and the US many times but this was easily the worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at. Would not recommend this to anyone.
