A nice hotel at a premium price
The good: Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, lots of amenities and one of the top beach fronts in the world. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice views either side. The not so good: For a hotel that is not all-inclusive the price is steep (over 800 a night), but I did stay during Christmas so that may have been a factor. Also, the rooms were Marriott level quality - which is not to say that its bad, but you expect a higher quality with Westin Hotels, especially at that price point.

My wife and I have staying at The Westin for years. Except during Covid and remodel of the property. This year we celebrated our 40th Anniversary and stayed for 3 days. It was amazing as usual. Staff wasn’t the friendliest. You would think traveling to such paradise as Hawaii people would be nicer but seems like everybody has a chip on their shoulder. We loved our stay! Everyone was super friendly! The pools are incredible! Great beach. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to snorkeling. We stayed in room 425. It wasn’t really a room with a view but we had a great view! Super clean. Definitely a fantastic stay!
