Holiday Inn Express Poole by IHG
"The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety with a generous spread. There is ample parking available, although parking is a paid feature. The location is also convenient, with several famous beach destinations just around a 10-minute drive away."
Sandbanks Hotel
"The property is 4* yet its sister hotel The Haven is also a 4* but what a difference ! The Sandbanks hotel needs renovation considering it’s so primely situated sea views at front & rear !!!! Hence it lacks the WOW it should deserve ."

"Was great"
The Merchant House
"We had a fantastic stay at The Merchant House in Poole and would highly recommend it! This gorgeous Georgian house has been transformed into a stylish boutique B&B, while keeping all of its original charm and character. We loved all the fascinating ornaments, beautiful china and thoughtful little touches throughout the house. It really felt like staying somewhere special. The location is brilliant, with Poole Quay, shops, restaurants, wine bars and historic pubs all within easy walking distance. It was so convenient to leave the car behind and explore. We even took the ferry and steam train to Corfe Castle, which made for a wonderful day out. Our bedroom was lovely — comfortable, cosy and full of character. We particularly loved the little teddy waiting on the bed, ready for a cuddle if required! Such a charming touch. And then there was the breakfast — wow! Huge portions and a fantastic twist on the traditional Full English. Everything was delicious, but the homemade sourdough bread was a real highlight. Fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious! We also have to mention Paul and Bentley the dog, who were the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome and very much at home. Bentley was an added bonus! The Merchant House is a real gem — full of character, perfectly located, wonderfully welcoming and serving an unforgettable breakfast. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"
Shah of Persia, Poole by Marston's Inns
"It was exactly what I needed at the time. Place could do with a bit of a refresh and update. Staff were exceptional, really welcoming and helpful."
Grovefield Manor

Rose and Crown
"Nice clean room, delicious English breakfast highly recommend"
Anchorage
"The room we had was great for our needs for the long weekend. Easy to access with self check in and out. Loads of info provided about the area for restaurants etc in a book left in the room which was genuinely useful. Jenny was great with providing required info on booking and checking we had that info again before we arrived. We’d definitely stay again if we visit Poole."
Quayside Quarters
"Lovely room at the top of 2 flights of stairs. Enough space for the 2 of us and luggage. Clean. Good shower. A good selection of tea &coffee. A payable mini bar. Good shower and the host has some toiletries for use if you’d forgotten anything. The location is great 2 mins walk to bars and restaurants. My advice is read the message from the hotel with the check in details (I didn’t) it a key lock box the code is in the message attachment . Jenny didn’t mind at all that I hadn’t read it and luckily she was close by to help out."
