We had some cleanliness and maintenance issues in the room during our stay, but the staff was courteous and very responsive. They fixed the problem quickly and to our satisfaction.
The rooms are nice and comfortable with good space for clothes and a desk to work at. The bathroom has a sliding barn door, so not as great for privacy as a normal door.
Breakfast started after I had to leave for my work meetings, but there were some pastries and coffee set out in a easy "grab and go" manner.
Overall, a good choice for a hotel in Mainz.
