After working throughout the night, we checked in at about 1:45 a.m. The room was clean; there was no complaint. However, the bathtub was clogged. Nothing is worse than getting to your room to take a relaxing shower after working all night and finding the tub clogged. It's disgusting to have the water rise about 5 to 6 inches while taking a shower. It's dirty water from previous people who used that shower. We were too tired to go downstairs and complain.
So if you plan to stay there, make sure not to choose room 205. Also, since my last stay, La Quinta is now charging $5.35 per night for parking. When asked, if this was all La Quinta chains, he told us that he doesn't know about the other chains. So Hotels.com needs to update their listing not to show "Free Parking" for this location.
My employees and I will not be staying here anymore coming mid Janauary when we have to install furnitures at nearby office location. Job duration is to last 5 days. That's a loss of 4 rooms for 5 days for La Quinta.
Word of advice to the manager, have your maintenance check all units for clogged tubs and unclogged. Advise your cleaning crew while cleaning the tube to check and report clogged tubs, unless there are not cleaning tubs anymore.
