For the price you can’t beat this hotel
A wonderful hotel one train stop away from Kyoto station. It’s not as central as others but that might be to its benefit as it’s wonderfully quiet. The service was great, the facilities were clean, and all our expectations (minus laundry) were exceeded. The shower / bathroom is so so nice after a long day of walking. I suggest you don’t use the laundry machines onsite, they’re not very effective at drying clothes and we needed to run 3 cycles (the initial wash & dry plus two more) and we still needed to go to the laundromat 6 minutes away to finish drying.

Decent modern Japanese style
Very nice hotel, I love the interior design which is very decent with the Japanese style. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The staffs are very polite and friendly. I hope I will come again if visit Kyoto.

Large rooms
Hotel is located right next door to train station, which made sightseeing really easy. Hotel rooms were large for Japan and kept in great condition, the Onsen baths was great at the end of the day too.

It was a great staying. Location is in walking distance to Umekōji-Kyōtonishi Station 梅小路京都西駅. Bus stops are near by. We tried 3 restaurants in the hotel, all were delicious. The spa is nice, kids love it very much.

4인가족이 방문했습니다~ 아이들이 철덕이라 오직 철도박물관 방문을 위해 여기에 숙박했는데 너무 만족스러웠어요~! 걸어서 5분거리. 공원도 있고 아쿠아리움 있어서 좋아요! 교토역은 지하철 1정거장이고 대욕장도 있고 객실이 매우 깨끗해요:) 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 바우처를 지급해주는데 1층 기념품을 저렴하게 구매했어요~ 지하철역하고 호텔 2층이 육교로 연결되어있어 캐리어 이동시 편리합니다! 다만 주변에 먹거리가 그닥없어요ㅠ 그거하나빼면 넘 만족스러웠어요! 츠지야 우메코지키타점이 걸어서 몇분 안걸리고 식사하기좋습니다. 꼬치 전문점이고 구글맵으로 예약 꼭 해야 웨이팅안해요 ㅠ
