The room was extremely dirty, with toilet water leaking from beneath the toilet and seeping up through the tiles onto the floor whenever the toilet was flushed. The hallway on the third floor constantly smelled unpleasant, like someone was cooking something disgusting. Unfortunately, we had to stay because all nearby accommodations were fully booked due to events in town.
On our third night, the situation worsened. Around 3 a.m., the police were called due to a domestic dispute that lasted until about 6:30 a.m. The individual involved returned and began shouting outside, demanding his wife let him back into the room. To make matters worse, the fire alarm’s low battery started beeping every 1-2 minutes during the night.
All of this compounded the fact that the room itself was in terrible condition. Almost nothing worked properly, and everything was old, broken, and poorly maintained. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience.
