Our first stay at Helnan Marselis Hotel and we loved it! My sister stayed here twice and recommended it to us, and she was right. Stunning sea views, direct beach access, and a spacious room with comfy beds and a balcony overlooking the water. A delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh options and relaxing wellness facilities. Great location - walking distance to the Infinite Bridge, Marselisborg Castle and Deer Park, and just 10 minutes by bus to Aarhus city centre. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We’ll definitely be back! 🌊❤️

Location was brilliant by the sea. But the hotel had seen its better days long ago. Rooms, floors, carpets, corridors were dirty and disgusting. Its a pity, cause the location is marvellous. Also staff was unfriendly since the first reception communication to restautants.

Leider kann ich dieses Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen. Der Service war wirklich katastrophal. Beim Frühstück wurden die Tische nicht gesäubert, und das Personal hat sich nur sehr halbherzig um die Gäste gekümmert. Schon beim Empfang an der Rezeption wurde man unfreundlich begrüßt – unvorstellbar, wie wenig Wert hier auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Die Zimmer waren alles andere als sauber und entsprachen in keiner Weise dem, was man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde – eher auf dem Niveau eines 2-Sterne-Hauses. Für den Preis eine große Enttäuschung.

En absurd dårlig oplevelse

Utvivlsomt den værste omgang rod, jeg nogen sinde har oplevet på et hotel. To værelsesskift de første timer på grund af defekter på værelserne. Efter et par timer lykkedes det at få et tredje værelse, som var ok - men først efter meget spildt tid. Dernæst fik et andet par nøgler til vores tredje værelse og kom brasede ind, da jeg lige var kommet ud af badet. Pinlig situation. Efterfølgende blev vores nøgler blokeret to gange, så vi ikke kunne komme ind. Hotellet lovede en kompensation ved udtjek - men HÆVEDE 1.000 kr. på mit kort i stedet. Disse penge er nu tilbageført, men selve kompensationen har jeg trods adskillige henvendelser intet set til. En helt igennem absurd dårlig oplevelse.
