I didnt had much time to explore the whole property however the room were clean and comfortable. The housekeeping lady gave evacuate service. I didnt get her name. Island Seas Resort has some positives, but unfortunately the negatives outweighed them for us. The best part is the location. It’s directly on a beautiful beach, and the grounds are very nice and well maintained. We also had a great massage. The wellness area is pretty bare-bones, but the masseuse was excellent. The food at SeaGrape Restaurant was also very good. Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely dated and desperately need renovation. Our room smelled moldy/mildewy, we had repeated issues with the room key, and we found a large palmetto bug/roach inside. We live in Florida and know these bugs exist, but I’ve never stayed in a hotel where I actually found one in my room. Our smoke detector also had a low battery and chirped repeatedly all night. When we called for help, we were told no one could address it until the next day, leaving us to deal with it ourselves. Service was extremely slow, and several areas, including the bar, were unattended. We understand it was the slow season, but paying guests should still receive the amenities and services advertised. The Wi-Fi is also terrible, so bring a hotspot if you need reliable internet. This resort has a beautiful location and a lot of potential, but it feels like a property that may have been great 20 years ago and hasn’t kept up. I would rather pay more to stay elsewhere and would not return.

The beach was beautiful. Our room was clean, but did have some issues, wall plug-in sockets without protective covers being the biggest. The staff was not real helpful or responsive, and always on "island time".....slow!! Don't eat at the poolside bar unless you have all afternoon, we waited over a half hour for a cocktail, then over an hour for our food, which was not very good. You definitely get what you pay for.

All the was amazing the staff the beach the pools the hot tub but one thing that stressed us out was NO INTERNET & WE COULD NOT EVEN USE OUR DATA. IT WAS ALL BLOCKED!! I spoke to other residents and they said same thing! Also my cousin stayed there last year and they said same NO INTERNET AND NO DATA could be used!! We are business owners and we neeeded WIFI and or able to use our data! We had to go to ZORBAS and or PELICAN BAY HOTEL to work.

The room was adequate but run down. The Kitchen was not fully equipped with only a few pots and pans, three bowls, and only a few plates. There was no coffee maker, but we were able to get one upon request. The check in was the worst part, after traveling all day we had to wait 5 1/2 hours for our room. The beach was gorgeous and makes us want to stay there again maybe but by the end of the week the pool was shut down and the hot tub was just a warm tub.

We really enjoyed our stay with the three kids. Beaches were clean the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early because of the hurricane approaching. Before we left they said they would refund us the night which we weren’t even expecting. We will definitely be back to visit.
