Great place to stay

Very nice Hotel and breakfast was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The view of the canyon was perfect. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it looked very nice. The patio furniture cushions could use an upgrade other than that the stay was pleasant.

We paid a little over $200 to stay here - a terrible quality for the price. I would not stay here - instead, look at the hotels that are a little north of it, which look newer or renovated. This is a very dated property, I’d avoid it.

It was just okay

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front counter receptionist was friendly and welcoming. It was really our room that was the disappointment. The climate control system did not function properly and the first night it was way too hot in the room, and then when it was warm out the unit had a difficult time cooling the room. The bathroom sink is at a really uncomfortable height and distance away from you so it's really awkward to do anything that you need to do at the sink. And then there are no hand towel racks in the area where you would wash your hands there are no hooks or any way to hang up a towel other than on the back of the shower door. I think the worst part is actually the mattresses and the pillows. It was a very squishy sloping mattress, I had to sleep in the middle because I felt like it was sloping off to the sides. And in the pillows all of them were just the oversized big over stuffed type pillows. I sleep with a very small pillow and I'm a stomach sleeper, this bed did not lend itself to a stomach sleeper. The breakfast was fine, there was plenty of food and plenty of options. I also found it very odd that there was an exterior window installed in the bathroom area that led to the sleeping area complete with a window screen, it was just very odd.

One night trip!

Location is good. The view is not really of the lake but rather the bridge which is still nice. We used points for this stay which may be why we had the last room on the floor which showed obvious signs of previous water damage and had a certain scent to it. But staff was super nice and beds comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and coffee nice and hot.

We were on a hiking trip so I specifically looked for a hotel with a nice hot tub. When we arrived the font desk told us it was closed for off season maintenance. Funny how they never give you a heads up BEFORE you arrive! Seriously disappointing. Also the rooms are like paper and we could hear everything in the hallways and even people walking in the room above. So many other options out there so I wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful views and the location was great! The front desk staff were super nice and breakfast was good. The only drawback was that they barely cleaned our room. One day you could tell someone attempted to clean it (the bed was partially made but the pillows were moved off to the side) but got distracted and left. Despite that we would probably still go back.
