Nice room and decor. Unfortunately could hear the TV through the connecting door to next room and guests in hallway were very loud returning to their rooms after midnight waking me at least twice. At 3:30 am there was a major domestic fight with yelling in the hallway. It was not what I would expect from this class of hotel. Breakfast was lovely and the area it is served in is beautiful.

Stay over to catch an Amtrak

Plumbing was a bit noisy. Enjoyed being able to actually open windows for fresh air.

    Really good experience

So let's start from the beginning. The parking structure is convenient not too expensive about 25 a day if you pay at the parking structure which is reasonable but you don't have in n out priveledge unless you pay 35 directly to the hotel. The location was amazing walking distance from gaslamp and little Italy. Once inside the hotel is were I had a weird experience, not sure if the greeter at the door was new but he was really aggressively looking to see how your day was which is nice of him to ask but it was just the way he aggressively approached you Everytime he was neer the door. The room was great very clean and great looking. The remains staff was really great and polite. Overall a good experience.

    Eh...

Honestly the stay was fine. The rooms looked cool, the beds were great, as well as the TV, but I wasn't made aware that my room didn't include a fridge or microwave. So money was wasted when it came to refrigerating my left overs. Also I had the cleaner knock on my door earlier than I wanted to wake up because another guest flipped my DO NOT DISTURB sign. Was not made aware of the amenities at check in. Was given a terrible view as well. Also was not made aware that they take $100 out of your account as a deposit incase you're gonna ruin the room. Surprised me when it showed up on my statement. It felt a little discriminatory as the front desk person didn't make me aware of it. If you don't mind any of that you might enjoy it!

    Beautiful hotel for adult trip

The hotel is beautiful and would recommend for travelers with no vehicle or adult only trip. Small rooms it felt cramped with another person in room. The parking lot is next door and not part of hotel so you will need to use 10 min loading parking in front of hotel. If arriving during busy hours, this can be stressful with kids as your having to manage luggage and kids while keeping everyone safe from traffic passing by. Simply not convenient.

    Great location and decor.

Really awesome hotel with some cool history. Parking structure is on the same block and really convenient, but it is $25 for overnight (expected for SD) short walking distance from little Italy. Design for the hotel room was awesome and the bathroom was very clean. Only bad thing was our neighbors on the same floor, everyone’s Door was really looking when opening and closing, but over all, pretty quiet (for a hotel…). Definitely would stay here again.

Attractive hotel in a great location

The staff were very welcoming and set up well for COVID precautions. The room was on the smaller side but fine for two of us, except for the bathroom setup - rather than being an opaque wall and door, it had opaqued glass walls and sliding door separating the bed from bathroom, which was a problem if you wanted to turn on the light or flush the ridiculously loud toilet during the night. The bathroom was adorable overall, though, with a good-sized shower (that could get slippery given the tiling, no handholds), and the bed was comfortable. We had a car and used the hotel parking in and out option, which worked fairly well. The cost was $35 per night for in and out privileges, or else pay at the garage for $25 per day, I think. The elevator situation in the garage was on and off - only one elevator of two running, and at one point one morning neither running. It was bright and easy to get to from the hotel. The hotel is also well located to be able to walk blocks in any direction and get to San Diego sights, or to get to public transportation. All in all, we had a restful convenient stay, and would stay again.
