While I was not perfectly happy with this property, i decided to proceed and book my next trip to Bangalore late December.
HOWEVER, a gross incompetence and inconvenience occurred upon my Checkout. Subsequent, I have cancelled my booking and stay with Clarks Inn. Thank you, otherwise, Ignacio Duenas, Room 205-1,-2,-3.
Not properly integrated with Expedia. Had to pay a number of additional fees that were not clarified on the Expedia listing. Also, very odd restrictions - we could only get one key card per room, which I've never seen in any other hotel.
Unfriendly and unprofessional staff Mr.Rakesh at the reception.He could not speak local language.He prompted his staff to clear the welcome juice for guests upon asking for a glass to drink.They must understand how tiring guests will be after long journey.Since we booked for 2 nights and could only stay for 10 hours and checkout we requested if can provide some discount on restaurant,he was rude to respond they receive payment from Expedia after a month and cannot give any discount.We did not even utilise breakfast buffet.Not even a smile on reception staff though he receives full payment for 2 nights.
Very professional. All.of the staff were very neatly attired. They were polite and helpful including the staff in the kitchen and dining space. Food was excellent. The breakfast menu and setting was elaborate and very clean. Wish I could eat more. Would surely recommend this location to anyone who maybe interested.
The hotel was fine for the evening, we really just needed a place to sleep and an easy dinner. The room was a bit more rundown than I expected, lots of stains on the furniture, walls and floor. The AC in our friend's room wasn't working when we first checked in so their room was very hot. Eventually it kicked on and started working, which cooled things down.
