Really enjoyable stay here in a great part of Munich. Very close to the centre but nice and quiet too. The balcony option was great and was used for morning coffees and early evening G&Ts! Highly recommended.

Modern & Clean Hotel
I was in Munich on business. I am there fairly often. The usual hotel I stay in has put its prices up yet again and is now quite ridiculous. I only need a bed. So I booked this hotel for the first time. Great location, just 4 or 5 mins walk north east of Marienplatz. Good welcome and very clean hotel. Modern. The room was small, but I expected that. No TV in the room, but why do you need one of those? The shower was hot and powerful. Bed was fine, but not the best. There is an honesty bar on 2nd floor - if you take a beer or whatever then just complete the small card and leave it at reception and they will charge your credit card. Online check-in and check-out provided. Usual question - would I return. Yes, most certainly.

Great hotel in the perfect location. 5 minute walk to Marienplatz Square (including the train station) 2 minute walk to Hoffbrahaus. We used their free bikes (which need some brake work) and enjoyed the personalized touches like Prosecco and gin & tonic in room. Safe and quite side street in great neighborhood and close to the outdoor market for our daily breakfast.

Out of 5 European cites on this trip- this was by far the most expensive hotel but felt the cheapest. The beds are a flimsy 4inch pad on top of a couple of boxsprings, you can hear people stomping around above you and there are zero amenities. (Not even a tv) Having said that, the staff, when they were there, we're very very nice.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of old town Munich! Perfect location - 2 min walk to Platzl & Hofbrauhaus, and just a few minutes more to Marienplatz. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and have good AC. Highly recommend!

Great location and nice w limited services.
The hotel is in very good condition and our room was really comfortable. The location cannot be beat. It’s smack in the middle of the old town and yet it is quiet. The but is that there was never anyone at the front desk. Just never, so when we needed help it wasn’t available.

Wonderful All Round
I knew to expect something a little different having looked at the hotel website and reading the reviews on hotels.com, and that is exactly what you get with this hotel. Relaxed, friendly and trusting that guests can take care of themselves (late check in process and honesty bar self service) without losing any sense that the hotel staff are there for you. I had the double room with balcony on the third floor, which was very clean, really spacious with a comfortable bed. I never watch TV on holiday, so didn't miss there not being one. The room lighting was dimmer than usual (as other reviews said) but only when curtains were closed over at night, and there was still good lighting around the bed if you did want to read. There was plenty of natural lighting during the day. As a female travelling solo, I felt very safe going to and from the hotel, even at night. Perfect location for Marienplatz, and the English Garden turned out to be much closer than expected. Maxvorstadt and the museums in the Kunstareal area are all walkable from the hotel (if you are happy to walk!). The Residenz area is literally around the corner. Would definitely stay again.
