Home away from home
This property was immaculate and maintained we loved our stay. You have to be prepared for a cleaning fee and resort fee for wifi per unit given they are all individually owned and operated but it’s worth it and you can tell it’s for good use. Our unit had covered parking in the heat, it was fully stocked from kitchen items, beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, kids toys, laundry, and much more. It was very welcoming and they went above and beyond to make it easy and feel like home. I’m not sure if all units would be the same since they are each their own but was a home away from home our family enjoyed it! Beautiful pool ( amazing mai tai must try) with an incredible view of the sunset. Lots of walking trails, close to beaches and close to the Hilton which we took advantage of the day pass for a day of fun snorkelling and pools. Lots of BBQ’s and hammocks. Tennis courts if you enjoy that bring your rackets. If you get a chance to swim with manta rays at night it is an amazing experience and not far! The staff was amazing and very welcoming. We have stayed in many condos this was one of the best. Beautiful vacation!

Very Good 8.0
Spacious condo, nice pool
After staying in a hotel, coming here was like being in an apartment. It was HUGE. Two giant bedrooms with two bathrooms. The dining room table was great to spread out. There were games we played. The TV in the living room had cable. There were a few DVDs. The condo was on the second floor, which was a little annoying, but thankfully, it was just a 2 floor building, so we weren't in the middle. The annoying part was how far it was from the pool. The complex is giant and we were very far from the pool/clubhouse. The parking was also a little strange. The spaces are all numbered, but our space was two buildings away from the one we were staying in. The toaster was broken and the hot water in the shower didn't work particularly well. Since this hotel was built over the lava bed, there is no direct beach access. You can walk over to the hotel next door or drive to a few nearby beaches. Our favorite was about 5 miles north of the hotel. It was a bit of a walk in, but totally worth it. The pool area is beautiful. The hot tub is nice, but a bit small. The bottom of it is rocks, which was unexpected. The views are phenomenal from everywhere. We saw whales from the pool deck. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant. Both of our orders were wrong. The waitress was really nice about fixing them both, but it was a little frustrating. The drinks were wonderful. I've discovered I'm a big fan of a daiquiri / banana drink combo. Next trip, I'll check out another place.
