just ok
The restaurant was closed this past summer so only food is within the individual casinos -,stuff heated up from frozen. The red beans and rice as actually ok, but just not any type of decent dining experience. The black and white photos in lobby/casino area were nice, historic picture of the dam building and the area. Room was blah, a little outdated and minimal. Close to the Dam. But whole place sort of smelled of stale cigarettes and loneliness of gambling as not busy at all.

A hidden gem just outside of Vegas
The entire stay was lovely, from the staff, to the room, to the gorgeous lake view. My husband and I stayed one night for a romantic staycation and got a lot of bang for our buck. Not only did they have a beautiful King suite available for an incredible deal, but the room itself was perfect down to the last detail. Our check in receptionist Barbara was the sweetest and the hotel service overall was worth a 5 star rating alone. The hotel is on the older side, but the rooms are beautifully maintained and updated, with a rustic decor that gives the rooms a warm, comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for an stay overnight or a whole week. The room was clean and well kept, bed was super comfortable, and the little bar was the microwave and fridge came in handy. The shower was also a highlight! Very roomy and romantic. The Hoover Dam Lodge really is everything you need for a nice, quiet get away with the one you love. We both highly recommend the king suites! Lots of space and a stunning view. Especially at sunset. We will definitely be returning. The whole experience was a 10/10.

Convenient but Dated, Needs TLC
We just needed a pet friendly hotel for a one night stay, for 2 adults, our >1 year old and dog. Hotel was dated, and in need of TLC. Drapes were broken and “fixed” in a way so they would hang but no longer closed in the middle letting light in. The shower curtain rode was cut too small, and slipped out of the holders on the wall - which knocked my husband in the head the 1st of 3 times it fell. Walls were very thin. We drove our Tesla so it was nice to have the option to charge or super charge. We were able to charge over night which was nice.

Great place to stay to visit our grandkids
We have family in Boulder City. The Hoover Dam Lodge is very close to them. Very nice staff, room was big and clean. Enjoyed going down in the morning and having a cup of coffee hanging out in the country store.

Extremely friendly people, a very nice room, very spacious with a good view. It claims to have 4 restaurants but it doesn’t. There are some limited menus for some warmed up apps but nothing fresh. We ordered pizza from Boulder City.

Quiet place to stay.
If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay this is it. In its heyday, it must have been an exciting place to stay. Currently, none of the Ice machines work, no coffee in the rooms. You can get ice and coffee from the convenience store. the rooms are spartan but very functional. I would stay again on my next trip to AZ. but make sure you eat before showing up because most restaurants are closed. but there is still the convenience store. :)
