Beautiful view but loud ground maintenance
Although this has been one of my favorite hotels, this visit wasn't as comfortable due to work being done on the grounds. I understand it has to be done, but or two days of our stay it was quite noisy & dirty with bobcat vehicles and power washers directly below my balcony. Our refrigerator went out on the send day. I reported it at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, each time being told that someone would be there "right away". I finally a gentleman that I believe was in the sales department and he got a maintenance engineer to fix it. Done at 4:00.

Good hotel with a great view of the Gulf
The hotel was good and the beach view was nice. All of the first floor on the south side was under construction blocking an easier walk up to the room, it was a mild inconvenience but would definitely consider bringing the kids with us next time we go on a trip to St. Pete Beach. Starbucks and a cute little French bakery right across the street made for a quick walk to grab breakfast and then enjoy it on the modest balcony of the room listening to the sounds of the beach.

My daughter and I had an unforgettable experience on our trip. Although the restaurant on site lacked sufficient staff and some items on the menu were unavailable, we still had a great time. We only wish that the restaurant had better service and that the beach bar area stayed open a bit later.
