Worked perfectly for us!
Worked perfectly for ZLB concert. Walk to and from ND was doable. Older hotel yet clean and cozy. Had 24 hour coffee machine. Fridge, coffee pot, and microwave in room. All staff was very friendly. We would stay here again!

My room had a broken ironing board in the middle of the room on check in. There were no tissues The fitted sheets did not remain in place. The light in the bathroom was motion activated so time in the shower or using the toilet meant the lights out turned out. We could find no way to adjust this issue. Front desk did not answer the phone. We had to travel downstairs for assistance.
We appreciated the breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience, From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the room was. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities.
The location was perfect close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night, making it easy to get a restful sleep.

A more affordable hotel in a city where they run pretty expensive. Basic facilities but clean. Breakfast included but extremely basic. I had a ground floor room that had only blackout curtains i.e. either dark with them drawn or no privacy at all.

The rate was inexpensive so I wasn’t expecting a 5-star hotel. The staff were friendly, rooms although outdated were clean, beds were extremely comfortable. We were out more than in so this room served its purpose.

Cozy little room
The bed was so comfy! The room was super clean. The bathroom was a little outdated but nothing too horrible! I stay at this hotel often and I always try and request the same room. It’s little and cozy and I like it!

The lock on my door was broken. I was on the first floor near an exit door. I felt a little unsafe.
The check-in person was nice as was the person at the desk when I checked out. There was breakfast ready when I left early in the morning.

I did not like their breakfast foods no variety of foods every morning, same every morning. The room telephone is not working and it was dirty , ( foods sticked on the phone) the room TV is complicated to operate, is not working since I check in finally the night before I will check out someone figure out / fix it but only a couple of hours when I turn off back to the problem . It was middle of the night.The location is good near at Notredame.

The staff was very friendly and helpful which always makes the stay better. could use some small improvements for normal things like having to jiggle the handle to stop the toilet from running all the time in RM222. But I praise the staff for their way of handling everything from check-in, breakfast, providing items needed during the stay, and check out. Very easy to deal with and the reason for my excellent rating.

I enjoyed my one week stay at Microtel. It’s quiet, clean, and cozy. The staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. I would like to see more breakfasts options. I’m definitely staying at this hotel next time I’m in South Bend, IN.
