We stayed at Marcello’s Como Lake in September 2025. The apartment was clean and functional, and the area was safe and quiet. We received quick answers to our questions and the service was friendly.

The property is in a great location, just some steps to Volta square and plaza Cavour, near to train station, the room is clean and quiet, everything works well, it would be appreciated more coffee capsules in the room. The instructions to pick up the key and how to enter is enoigh clear (you need internet to see instructions), the rooms are exactly on left hand (brown door) after you passed across 3 glass doors.

Very accommodating & helpful host/owner. Just be aware if you don’t book in advance, and thus need to do a self-check-in, you will need to get the keys from a public locker shop about 2 blocks away. But if you arrange your check-in ahead of time, and hey can meet you at the property.
The room was very clean, modern, & the beds were very comfortable!
I do recommend this place when staying in Como.

Marcello's Place is on a great street with a very nice, clean and modern room. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay and our visit in Como. There is coffee and tea in the room for you as well as a small refrigerator.
We had a car and figured out to park just past the key pick up (blue lines only- not yellow lines). All this information will be provided to you ahead of time. However, I also recommend that ahead of your stay, just make sure you know the address for the key pick up (which is around the corner from the property) and the code to pick it up. Keep all this information handy, as there are a few steps to take between getting the key, registering with the city agent and getting to the room and opening the door. A video for arrival is provided, which is also helpful.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again and the owners were very nice.

Das Zimmer war sehr gut und das Bett war enorm bequem. Kaffeemaschine, Wasser, Kühlschrank stehen zur Verfpgung. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und alles (Comer See, Innenstadt etc.) ist fussläufig erreichbar. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es dafür, dass der Schlüssel sich nicht im dafür vorgesehen Fach befunden hat als wir ihn abholen wollten.
