I originally booked at The Roami on canal quarters and they canceled my booking at 5:30pm and check in was at 4pm. They did offer a room at another Roami a few blocks away but it was so inconvenient. The Roami at Duncan Plaza wasn’t up to date and as clean. We also couldn’t do much on the tv because it was a code blocking us from getting into apps to sign in on our own apps.

Beware!! The room smelled awful. The smell of pot everywhere in the building. Was given 2 washcloths for 4 people for a 4 night stay and it was in the 90’s every day. Sometimes a two shower day. Shady people hanging out at the supposedly locked front door holding the door open for who knows. Never saw a staff of the hotel. The so called lobby has no manned individual.

It's not 100% the hotels fault but the room and stay was amazing, its just the people that linger outside especially at night in front of the hotel that make you feel unsafe. Probably should add more lights so people won't try to sleep in front.

Roami was a clean and well maintained place. Everything is digital. Check in and check out but the place was well stocked and room was kept well with climate controlled system. If I do go back this is where I will always stay.

Communication was great as was the response time. The room had just about everything that one could need for a relaxing time. Two things to keep in mind when staying, it gets loud at night. (The room I stayed in came equipped with an Ambience speaker which provided Rain sounds, Thunder Sounds, ect ect) and a key important piece, there is no designated parking space. More than likely you’ll need to use a garage or park somewhere that you have to pay. Typical price range for when I stayed was 25 a night.

Aliana the housekeeper was truly amazing, she went far and beyond her title. Truly enjoyed the room the amenities I felt safe and secure. The negative was the issues with the code entering the building and entering your room. It was a weight of 45 minutes as they had to change the code because it wasn’t working, but Customer Service did the best that they could do I would recommend

I rented an 2 bathroom apartment but it was 2 individual rooms & one room was not clean when arrived & staff said they couldn’t clean that night so I had to share a bed with my husband & best friend be we tracked 6hrs & had spent 1400 on this stay plus bugs were clawing in the room. The room was so cold & air would not adjust we felt closed in because we didn’t have any windows to see outside the only windows was in between buildings. I personally would not rent again

When we first arrived it was 10pm. We tried checking in and the check in wouldn’t let us. So we had to call the hotel. We sat on the phone for 35 minutes waiting for someone to answer. When they finally did they kept transferring us. After another 30 minutes someone finally fixed our check in instructions. We made it to the room. We paid for a balcony studio, we were not given that. We went to the bathroom and there were multiple dirty tooth picks on the floor. Next day I contacted the hotel (there is no front desk) to get my room changed bc it was dirty and we didn’t receive a balcony room. They said they moved our rooms to what we asked for. I went down to the room and it was the same exact room still no balcony but this room was A LOT COLDER. (They don’t have heat). So I went back up to our original room and called them again letting them know I wouldn’t be staying in that room, due to seeing a few bugs, no heat, and still no balcony. They said okay. Next day came we had 2 couples open our door with the code the hotel provided them. We had room service come to our door multiple times saying that we were supposed to leave that day but our check out was the 30th.. meanwhile this was the 28th.. I contacted hotel again. To see if we can get our balcony we paid for. They told us our booking doesn’t say balcony (this is bc they switched our rooms) I sent them a screen shot of my original booking before they changed it and they STILL never gave us our balcony room.
