Good Old Hotel in a Quiet Place & DustyRoom!

Royal Garden Hotel in East Tsim Tsa Tsui is located in a quiet environment, not far from MTR station. Taxi ride from HK Airport takes almost a hour. Not many eateries immediately close to the hotel, but walkable distance to some nice restaurants with overpriced roast goose and dim sum places. The hotel has a dim sum restaurant which is quite good. Service is good at front desk reception. Room size is reasonable and well designed, although the hotel is fairly old. For some reason the carpeting in the room was very dusty and caused us some discomfort due to the dust particles. After day 2 we complained to Housekeeping and they did vacuum the carpeted flooring, which improved the air quality. For this reason, we decided to look for other hotel options in HK.

The hotel staff can not do enough for you at this hotel, it is located in the ideal area for access to hong kong island, lantau and all tourist tours. We strongly recommend this hotel for when you stay in kowloon.

A very good hotel. Clean, well kept, smart. In a great location and very close to the MTR, Victoria Harbour, all the hustle and bustle of Kowloon. The Crown Club lounge was marvellous with a superb, friendly, and helpful team (Teresa, Nora, Morris, Lane and all the other staff without exception were fantastic.) The buffet breakfast in The Greenery (L3) restaurant is very good, with lots of choice. The pool up on the top is brilliant and kept very well. The view of the harbour from there is superb too. The A21 bus from the airport stops really close but it is a long old ride from Tsim Sha Tsui when the traffic is heavy to the airport so take a good book. It is pleasant though.

Excellent staff and services. Breakfast has lots of choices and very good food covering Asian and western style. Location is very convenient with access to all modes of transportation just nearby. The premise is very clean with excellent housekeeping, plus access to rooftop pool and various excellent restaurants within premise. Overall a truly 5-star gem with very reasonable price to boost.
