Sep 16, 2026Such a fun place in Death Valley NP…it’s like your own private oasis! Pool, restaurants, and store to grab ice or ice cream.
The room was clean and spacious. Loved the shower. Most importantly the A/C worked!!
Staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Oct 15, 2026Very good stuff and the management. In particular what I like is how they dealt with the situation of their ice vending machine failure due to heat. Instead of blaming it on weather and asking people to just buy ice, they themselves probably bought packets and were giving it for free to people. This reflects the attitude of the management. Location is of course amazing if you want to do stargazing.
However, the restaurant didn't have any vegetarian food options.

Jun 14, 2026I loved my stay at Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel. Really friendly welcome, and in a great location in the park with great views from the hotel. The very best bit of the stay was swimming in the pool late in the evening and watching bats catching insects over the pool. Very useful local store across the street too.

Jul 9, 2026Highly recommend staying inside the park. Although it wasn't the newest property, its location made up it. One of the hottest showers I've ever taken, but it was to be expected given the outside temperatures. Room was comfortable with A/C unit. Nice General Store across the road.

Jul 6, 2026The staff at Stovepipe Wells was kind and helpful. They instructed us as to how to coexist with the “friendly beetles” and how to take cover during a dust storm. The pool was refreshing. The breakfast served at the café was full of fresh and healthy options. Overall, this was a really cool property in the middle of a beautiful national park - I would consider it a privilege to stay here again!
