Property was in bad shape. Not cleaned to my standards. Bugs. Dirty floors. Shower head broken so showering was difficult and the water was not hot. Washing machine wasn’t working right and water spilled all over the patio.
They look luxury but it’s not. Just nice amenities which aren’t all that

Nice view from balcony
Stayed in 2 different apartment's in 'The Base' in Pattaya. This one on the 24th floor and another on the 18th floor.
One of the pluses on this one was the bottled water supplied for our long booking.
The fairly big downfall was the check in process at security which all bookings to 'The Base' have to endure. Filling out an information document and supplying passports to security and having to call your host to come and pick you up at security and escort you to your apartment. So need to be able to make local calls in Thailand.
Both apartments had the same view but did have there differences but came out at about the same levels (there seemed to be more slamming of doors on the 24th floor though).
Both washing machines supplied at the apartments needed there filters cleaned but this one had so much lint in it it was like a solid piece of lint filling the filter and had to put the machine through several cleaning cycles.

We booked this apartment because it looked really promising, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. It’s probably a great place for young people who want to be out and about and don’t spend much time in the accommodation. But for us as a couple looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, it wasn’t the right fit.
We booked the extra-large apartment with a city view, but the windows were so dirty that the view was barely visible. The cleanliness overall wasn’t great either. We found insects on the damaged floors in some rooms and mold on the bathroom fixtures. The price-performance ratio was poor in our opinion.
The noise level was also a big issue. It was really loud, both from the street and inside the building, even at night, which made it hard to relax. The rooftop pool area, which was one of the highlights for us, was overcrowded and only had eight loungers, nowhere near enough for the number of guests.
There were also a lot of strict rules around the property, with signs everywhere warning about fines for breaking them. This made the whole atmosphere feel a bit tense rather than relaxing. For example, you were only allowed to drink water at the pool, which isn’t ideal if you’re on holiday and want to enjoy yourself.

Plutôt pour des séjours à plusieurs (à partir de 3 personnes), histoire de rentabiliser le coût de la location (surtout en période de fêtes). A priori, d’après les messages d’informations qu’on peut lire un peu partout, au sein de la copropriété, les loueurs sont dans l’illégalité puisque la location de moins de 30 jours est normalement interdite. Mais l’usage semble bien différent.
