Convenient for the station & port and was quiet so easy to get to sleep. The bed was not the most comfortable but acceptable. Certainly no issue for my one night stay.

Mar 13, 2026The lady at the reception was very helpful. There is a small secure car park. There is a small shop across the road. The usual fast food KFC, Burgerking, macdonalds are about a 5 minute walk. The Stena port is a 4 minute drive.

Oct 1, 2025Very much enjoyed staying in the room I was allocated. Very comfortable and clean with easily the best TV I have experienced in this type of hotel! The only downside was the lack of any breakfast offering whatsoever so I cannot give an overall rating of ‘excellent’.

Jun 21, 2026The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning. We couldn't see the point of the massive television, that was too close to watch anyway.
The parking area was roomy and secure.
There was a Costa and a Starbucks within easy walking distance, along with a supermarket and a row of shops. Although this hotel would be handy for the ferryport, it was too far from Harwich town centre to walk, so we could not visit the pubs and restaurants without driving (although we should have checked this before booking).
