What guests liked
- Parking was convenient and easily accessible right by the room door. (6 reviews)
- The property's pet-friendly policy was not mentioned in the reviews, so I will ignore it and focus on the pool. The converted pool area was a super cute and fun space for guests to hang out. (4 reviews)

Oct 2, 2026Far Out Motel was a fun discovery! Unique and nostalgic, but with modern conveniences and super clean. Love the area and the room was perfect for our short stay in Starkville. The air conditioner is as icy cold and the beds were incredibly comfy. We will definitely be back!

Sep 19, 2026The location was everything a long week and a mini vacation was nice. We tried Camp house for dinner it's so many restaurants near the motel. If you don't want to be in contact with front desk it gives u a key number that was excellent by itself easy clean wouldn't expect the room to look the way it did amazing at its best. Will be traveling and using this motel clean inside and out.

Jun 19, 2026We needed a room in Starkville for a funeral. I’m a Hilton Honors member, but even the basic rooms were $150-$175. I’m so grateful I found Far Out on AirBnb. The room was great and even so cute with the Johnny Cash theme (we were in Room 22). I wish we could’ve spent more time in the courtyard/outdoor patio space, but it was rainy. A totally clean and safe stay with some personality for $90. Would absolutely book again.

Jun 24, 2026This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of Starkville. Very close to the Mississippi State Campus and perfect for our overnight stay. The room was spotless, the foam mattresses were comfy, and we had everything we needed (including a large-screen TV to watch World Cup games). We were in a double Queen with a kitchenette and a small table. Plenty of room and well laid out. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the air freshener, which was a little on the strong side and not necessary.
