8/10 Very good

Good location and cool vibe for accommodation. The bathtub on the balcony was a nice touch, though the water didn’t quite get hot enough. The bed was comfy and room cleaned well by the staff, they kept in touch via WhatsApp for any support / local recommendations / transport arrangements. The view from the pool/restaurant is incredible and worth heading up for. The only downsides were the pool has no working shower so people are getting in dirty, and we did have to ask a few times for bugs/leaves to be cleaned out. The restaurant food also wasn’t great and the breakfast selection wasn’t worth shouting about so we ate at local restaurants most of the time. Monkeys are hanging around a lot, they’re very cheeky and harmless but you have to keep an eye on your food and they do jump around in the trees/run across your roof at night.

Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Personal war durchweg super hilfsbereit und total nett – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Besonders positiv: Sie waren 24/7 erreichbar und haben sich bei kleinen Problemen immer sofort gekümmert. Der Pool ist ein echtes Highlight, genauso wie das Restaurant mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Unser Zimmer („Birds Nest“) war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Im Badezimmer merkt man zwar, dass es schon etwas abgenutzt ist, und wir hatten ab und zu Besuch von kleinen Tierchen (Ameisen, Kakerlaken) aber ehrlich gesagt: Mitten im Dschungel ist das wohl normal. Die Zimmer sind außerdem nicht besonders gut isoliert und werden recht warm, aber die Klimaanlage regelt das. Kleiner Hinweis: Achtung vor den Affen. Sie sehen süß aus, haben es aber auf Essen und Getränke abgesehen und sind vor allem morgens und abends sehr aktiv. Die Lage ist top: Perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die schönsten Strände und Orte im Süden der Insel zu erkunden. Mit dem Roller kommt man überall super hin, der Strand ist sogar fußläufig erreichbar.
