No info about basement
We rented a house for 9 people, but when we arrived, we saw that there was only space for 7 people in the main part of the house. The remaining 2 were expected to sleep in the basement, which can only be accessed from the terrace and has no windows.
The rental agency was of no help – and there is no mention on Hotels.com that anyone would have to sleep in a basement.
In the living room, there was only dining space including chairs for 6 people indoors, and outside on the terrace there was space for 8.
We also called the landlord about this, but nothing happened, even though we were promised more chairs. We were later told that we should eat in the basement because there is enough space down there. But we’re sorry – we didn’t go on summer holiday to sit in a basement with no windows and no fresh air.
This was never mentioned anywhere in the listing.
