Luxury experience at a very affordable price. Excellent location, staff, food, massage, amenities, everything. No complaints only praise. Took hotel shuttle to/from train, Chichen Itza (go early) and local cenotes. Highly recommend!!

Less than one year-old this fantastic modern hotel sits in the jungle 10 minutes from Chitzen Itza. They provide shuttle service to the ruins, town,swimming holes. Service cleaning the room all were five stars. The only weakness was very spotty Wi-Fi. Go there before it gets too crowded with tourist buses.

The room was spotless! The room, bathroom and balcony were all beautifully decorated!
The service from the staff was 5-Star! The views were spectacular. The food in the restaurant was well proportioned to the price and very good. The location of the hotel is very remote however, there are paid shuttles to Chichen itza and bicycles available on the property.

This place is by far one of the best stays I've ever had. Staff was very friendly and attentive, from check-in to check-out. Dinner options were so good, traditional and cultural options, and most importantly, reasonably priced. Also, the gym was great.

Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Super convenient for a visit to Chichen Itza especially if traveling with the new Tren Maya. The hotel has transportation to/from train station, Chichen Itza including night show, and other local spots. The swimming pool was a real treat after a day at Chichen Itza. We had some excellent meals at the restaurant. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this new hotel.

By far the best hotel in the area, they have a shuttle service that takes you to Chichen-Itzá and the Cenotes, there’s restaurants in the little town, but do your self a favor and eat in the hotel restaurant! The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent, yes don’t eat at the pyramid restaurants because they are overpriced and the food isn’t good, the rooms are great, there is a little cat around the property her name is Micha and she is very friendly, just like the staff

Hotel Mundo was wonderful! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and very spacious. It is a relatively new hotel. Pool was amazing and they have shuttles that pick you up and take you to the Mayan train station and to chitzenitza.
The only thing I would suggest is more options in the restaurant since this is the only place to eat without going into town. Also maybe a better quality of coffee! Overall a great experience and will return! Thank you Hotel Mundo for making our visit to the Yucatan so enjoyable!

Beautiful newly built hotel 10 minutes drive from Chichen Itza. The design and decor of the whole place was beautiful, especially the attrium and the rooms themselves. Large pool area set against Maya jungle. The hotel felt like it still wasnt quite finished (some construction work going on whilst there which did cause some noise pollution). Staff were brilliant and very attentive. Stand out was actually the on site restaurant that was both reasonably priced and really good quality (Maya Octopus was brilliant). Currently a hidden gem and I hope more people visit.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are large, very well appointed, immaculately clean. The pool is amazing. The grounds are spotless. The parking lot is guarded. The restaurant is great.
But best of all, every single staff member is totally service oriented.
I rode up on my adventure motorcycle and was a little out of place, but they absolutely made me feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel for motorcycle travelers.
This is one of the top 4 hotels i have ever stayed at. I will be back. I would not consider staying anywhere else in the area.

This is a beautiful new property—spotlessly clean, with an incredible jungle and Mayan atmosphere. The food was amazing, and the location is perfect—very close to Chichén Itzá and nearby cenotes. The staff were polite and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful hotel experience!

The personal is very attentive and always ready to help and accommodate any need you have) restaurant is beautiful amd the menu is complete. Breakfast the best!

Wow this place was more than we expected. Booked for an overnight quick stop from Merida. It’s brand new (7 months), a very grand scale full resort, and felt like a 5 star. Very clean, beautiful lush greenery, excellent service. Everyone working there was very courteous and greeted us warmly. Minutes to chitchen itza. Highly recommended.
