I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and had such a great experience that I decided to return on my recent trip to Bali.
There are still many things I love about this property.. the staff are warm and welcoming, the restaurant is excellent, and the pool area is beautiful and well-maintained. Short walk to the beach!
But Unfortunately, this stay didn’t quite live up to my previous experience. There were a few maintenance and cleanliness issues that impacted my stay. The shower drain wasn’t draining properly, which meant standing in pooled water while showering (I did report this on my first night but nothing eventuated). There were also a couple of water leaks in the bathroom and an occasional sewage smell that was noticeable in the room.
I was also surprised by how much noise could be heard from the club across the road, even though my room was located towards the back of the property, not relaxing at night time unless your in the party scene for the whole time.
Overall, I still think the hotel has a lot going for it and the service remains fantastic but I don’t think I’ll be back.
