Hotel Principe Di Savoia
"Good"
Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano Duomo
"The hotel is very well located, and the rooftop is absolutely spectacular, with a gorgeous view that is definitely one of the highlights of the property. Unfortunately, the rooms were a major disappointment. They feel very outdated and in need of renovation, with old-looking décor and horrible curtains that really take away from the overall experience. The bathroom was also in poor condition, with visible mold, to the point that I did not feel comfortable showering without wearing flip-flops. It is a shame because the location is excellent and the rooftop is truly beautiful, but the rooms and bathrooms definitely need a serious update and much better maintenance."

"Everything was of a very standard"
Rosa Grand Milano - Starhotels Collezione
"The Rosa Grand is a great up scale hotel located a block from the Duomo and the Galleria and central to most tourist sites! Lots of close by shops and restaurants! The breakfast buffet was very good too! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there myself next time I’m in Milan!"
Hotel Da Vinci

"Great location, very helpful staff"
Hotel Canova
"There were blackout shutters on the window which would have been handy if it was noisy outside. As it was there was a lot of noise internally, I could hear every door open on the floor, but I couldn’t hear other noise - tv, people talking, etc… Room was clean, minibar stocked with water (charge), tv was nice and big, bathroom stocked with goods. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again."
Hotel Cavour
"Hotel Cavour was in a great location. It was a short walk to Brera, an historic district of Milan, where there’s lovely small cobblestone streets with cafes, bars and restaurants. It felt very safe walking around the area at night. It was a short walk to the Duomo as well. When we checked in, the man working at the front desk was very helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go for dinner. We were only in Milan for 2 nights so it was great that we could walk to everything."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Milan
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Milan is during January, March, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those wanting to explore the city’s rich history and culture, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration provides a great opportunity to visit iconic landmarks such as the stunning cathedral, impressive museums, and historical monuments, as well as experience the vibrant art scene, charming cafes, and unique shopping districts. Travelling during these months can offer great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for cultural enthusiasts.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Milan, explore the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on accommodations as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, you can use the Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window tool via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. If prices drop or rooms become available, you'll be the first to know, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Milan hotel. For those interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit high, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to potentially save on your trip.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Milan's excellent public transit system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that’s still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there’s often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
