Great location, plenty of small shops for groceries nearby. My kids loved it. The property is fairly clean and a lovely compact spot. The staff are nice, although we had a problem with check in, whereby I informed them of our arrival time, arrived at exactly our arrival time, but was informed they would be another 30 mins as I hadn't called them an hour before arrival. There is nowhere to wait outside the property. Air conditioning is advertised, but the property has one extremely small and underpowered stand alone unit. It can not accurately be described as "Air Conditioned". This was an issue as it was 36 degrees both days we were there. I have been in more spacious aeroplane toilets than the one in this property! The drain was blocked in the shower and filled the tray quickly. It also had a strong smell if the door was kept closed. Genuinely nice little apartment, but not without flaws.

I booked this place because it had a washer/dryer… something we needed after three weeks on the road. There’s no reception at the site so we had to rush from the train station to meet the nice woman who persistently messaged us and waited for us. Not a terrible start but could have been smoother. I should have looked more closely at the listing because it was a surprise to see that the beds were in lofts above the kitchen. One required going up a ladder; the other required going up steps embedded in the wall with no banister. I would have loved this as a college student but now I’m two years younger than Trump and my sense of balance isn’t what it used to be. We ended up sleeping on the modular sofa in the den which wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV was advertised as 50 inches but I’m guessing it was 40. No matter, we never got it show any channels. The WiFi didn’t work until I powered the router on and off a few times. The location was great. Not far from the train station and the national museum. Very noisy though. Again, I would have loved the place with a bunch of friends 50 years ago. Never again now.
