Very hospitable property and staff. The property was gorgeous. Be prepared to be offered all kinds of help. It does come with a heftier price. Almost anything you are offered by the Riad manager will cost you two to three times more than if you use Viator or any online booking service for the exact same experience. A few miles drive by them getting you transportation will be 15 euro. Go and get a petit cab it's 4-5 euro. Upon my departure they requested i cancel my 30 euro first class train ticket, pay for one more night and then pay a private hire for 150 euro to get to Rabat. It Just gets stupid at times. When you turn them down they act like a child thats been told No. Dinner on premise is 20-25 euro. Same meal in the medina 12 Euro.
So depending on your travel experience willing to negotiate and be a little adventurous you can have a really nice inexpensive experience or a really expensive experience.

I ordered a family of 4 room which was large, but the stair to the loft is hard to step up and down. Bathroom not has enough counter space for the toiletries. My room is on the ground level. The sounds from above continue until the midnight. Great breakfast, nice people, but really small riad.

We stayed in the room with a terrace from November 11th to 14th. Although the surrounding establishments aren't very pleasant (a large metalworking shop, a small cemetery, and a shabby stable on the back hillside), it's a wonderful place. It's worth closing your eyes and letting yourself be carried away by the atmosphere. It's very well located (2 minutes from a gate to the Medina), making it very convenient to reach by car. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The towels and sheets were of good quality. They have a restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The breakfast is plentiful and impeccable. Among other things, we had a meat tagine with caramelized onions, which was one of the best things we ate in Morocco. The traditional soup was delicious; in fact, we had it several times. The staff is wonderful, professional, and attentive to every need. Mohamed was incredibly courteous and selfless, always smiling and dedicated to making our stay a five-star experience. Boubker was equally impressive, recommending a Medina tour with a guide named Mustafa, who turned out to be a passionate expert on the city. He made us fall in love with Fes, its history, anecdotes, and secrets—a truly 10-star tour. He also recommended Pedro, who took us to Volubilis, Meknes, Moulay Idriss, and several other sites on a beautiful day trip. Thanks to our stay, we will return to Fes.
