Solo traveller, making his way through NY state and Vermont, it was great to see that hospitality was still alive and well after a few dubious experiences on previous nights. Accommodation was as expected, clean, comfortable and convenient, particularly enjoyed the extra large tv! Restaurant at the Inn, surpassed expectations! Perfect welcome, warm and friendly greeting. Treated as well as one of the locals which is my previous grievance of some other hotels, bars, restaurants etc in the region. Food was fantastic and I had attentive staff throughout the meal to make sure everything was up to scratch. I guess if nobody checks your meal is OK it's because they probably know it's not that great, again, previous experience. On drinks, had the best Mojhitos outside of the Carribean and Paris! So all round awesome experience. This team knows what's important in an age where the service industry seems to be in decline. Only thing lacking was maybe an accessible coffee machine, but I am a caffeine addict.

Staff was responsive to a minor issue and resolved it. They plan to purchase microwave ovens and that will be a nice addition. They need to ordered some coffee filters and coffee grounds. Place is simple but clean. Bed was comfortable. The room needs to be aired out ideally before guests arrive if it has not been occupied recently. A fair amount of off gassing from recent improvements. The air source heat pumps are mounted on the back side of the building and vibrate, they should have been ground mounted.

The place is super clean and all new! It has two beds, a big TV on the wall, and a nice bathroom. The setup is minimal — no microwave, fridge, table, or chairs. A tiny investment in a small coffee table and basic coffeemaker would make a huge difference, especially since the restaurant opens only at 5 pm. Having fresh coffee in the morning would be really nice. The coffee at the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are very friendly.

The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine.
