The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the location was perfect - walking distance to town and quiet. The breakfast included hot items off a menu and a self-serve breakfast bar, more than I could eat. The managers were friendly and helpful. A good value. Small bu clean & cosy room. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good with a wide choice including a "full English", I had Eggs Benedict. Tea & coffee was from a self service machine with various choices, but of good quality. Buffet for cereals, juices, yogurts, fruit & pastries. Toast was bought to your table with a choice of white or brown brad, served in a toast rack. Marmalade, Jam & honey was available (no Marmite, to my Wife's disappointment!). Parking out the back courtyard was free, off street, a bit tight but okay.

Well located close to centre of town. The car parking is free and directly behind the hotel. Our welcome was warm and the hosts continued to be warm and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was right at the top. It was a small room and very warm because of the heatwave. A fan was provided. Room facilities were fine for a short stay with a comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast choices were good and the food was excellent. Service with a smile. We would be happy to return to this hotel in the future and wish the hosts success when they decide to reopen the restaurant.

Very clean hotel. Parking free, but first come first served. Host was incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast and the available choices were delicious and the service was excellent. We had the quadruple room. No aircon (which we didn't expect) and the room looked out onto a busy road. The flow of traffic didn't really stop until gone 2am so take ear plugs. Weather was extremely hot (nothing that the hotel could do about that) but they did provide a tall fan. A really good shower, clean bathroom and provided three towels for each guest.

We had a large clean double room with a very comfortable bed, and benefited from a floor standing fan. Nice towels and large walk-in shower bedroom. Room (no. 7) was located at the front of the property and road noise was quite noticeable. Unfortunately we learnt upon our arrival that the hotel restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment so had to find somewhere local for dinner. This was not an issue in itself and there are various restaurant within 5 minutes walk, but had the closure information been shown when booking via Hotels.come we would have looked else where. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful ranging from cereals to cooked breakfast.
