Facilities need Attention
It should not be listed as a hotel. Maybe a hostel. Room was not clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The staircase railings need to be repaired and secured firmly to prevent a serious slip and fall liability incident from happening. Super convenient location!

Definitely not for over 50's!
Great location! The rest was very poor! No lift... dangerous stairs with loose "handle rails"! All walls and doors need a good scrub. Grit everywhere. No hand towels; no bath mat; No soap in our soap dispensers!

Not recommended if you have much baggage. Read.
Although well located, this hotel is the combination of two very old buildings in central Amsterdam. The people were friendly, and the room was average. However, there are NO ELEVATORS and our room was up four floors from the entry level. There are separate stairways for each of the original buildings (other than from the ground to the first floor). You need to look for a sign for your room number to see which stairway to take from the first floor up. The stairs are narrow and steep. We had a terrible time getting baggaing for three people upstairs.
