I had an extremely disappointing experience with my room allocation, which was mishandled both by the hotel and Expedia, despite having 8 days to resolve it. After a 7-hour flight and a 5-hour conference, I was left stranded without accommodation. To make matters worse, no one seemed willing to assist me, except for the front desk staff, who were unfortunately ineffective in resolving the issue.
Interestingly, Expedia had 7day worth of correspondances with hotel and myself and reassured the room will be available, which was not the case
