Very rural location. Very peaceful and quiet. Everyone very laid back, maybe a little too much. Food was rated as a-la-carte, however, food was very nice, but not a-la-carte. Set menu every evening, little disappointing, would have preferred a little more variety, but did work in this very small environment hotel. Some of the young waiting staff, very inexperienced and it showed. Other than your room and pool, very little to do. Had advertised a shop at hotel, not ready to open on my visit, table tennis offered but not available. You would need a car for any significant length of stay, as no shop nearby for essential personal purchases. In bad weather, there is very little or nothing to do other than retreat to your room or the library.
There was a lot of repair work visually happening, I think personally they have advertised too much too early to open and be able to offer what has been promised.
