Front desk personnel was friendly. Room was good bathroom shower could’ve been cleaner. Beds were very comfortable overall the room was good. I would stay there again. Stayed on parking lot side. Need to tryOceanside next.

Beautiful place but need to be more timely
Hotel was the perfect location...direct beach front. Pool was beautiful. The room was clean. The only complaint was that check-in was at 4p and our room was not ready until after 5p. The on-site restaurant sign says 'serving breakfast, lunch and dinner' yet no breakfast was offered. And, lastly, no elevators in any part of the hotel...so definitely not a good choice for someone with bad knees.

Paying for oceanfront
First off, the location is really great. You are paying for oceanfront. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom sink was tiny, not even big enough to wash your hands thoroughly. The grounds were nice but people left beer cans and towels and drink cups all over the place so you woke up to the night before’s trash. The front desk staff wasn’t super accommodating as far as Honoring my request for a first floor room. She was in fact, rude to me when I asked. The restaurant was good. We had a nice lunch dinner from there. We stayed on the first floor and the patio outside the room was shared. We didn’t get to enjoy it at all because our “neighbors” were out there at all houra and also left their trash all over. If you’re looking for oceanfront, it’s a nice hotel, but don’t expect pristine conditions

Disappointing service
We had a one night stay and I was very happy to leave this place. The entire stay was disappointing to say the least and we would not return. The only positive I can think of is it is directly on the beach. When we arrived to check-in, the young woman at the counter just blankly stared at me. It would have been nice to hear a “Hello” or “Welcome.” I asked if she could check us in, and she robotically went through the motions with barely uttering any words at all and just handed me the room keys. I asked where the room was and she gestured to the hallway door and said we needed to follow the signs. Not off to a very good start. When we found the room, it was… ok. Felt like a motel room and was certainly dated, not worth the money they charge. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the resort, big mistake. When the hostess sat us outside, we were told there was a party of 30 people inside and she said we needed to be patient and grab our own drinks from the bar in the meantime. We then patiently waited for over 20 minutes for a server and started noticing that we didn’t even seem to have the correct menu based on what he saw a nearby table have. My boyfriend flagged down a waitress who brought the correct menus to us but we still didn’t get anyone to take our order. After another 15+ minutes, we flagged down another waitress and asked if she would please take our order since no one had ever come. Food was certainly not worth the wait.
