AVOID - total scam from OYO Group
AVOID! They couldn’t house us due to a ‘leak’, they switched our hotel the night before when it was too late for us to find alternative accommodation. (Not via Hotels.com) The alternative hotel (Albion, Hove) was awful, the curtains were see-through, bed was broken and there was no shower, just a water pipe 😂 (see pic). We were promised a refund but they then refused this. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund us either so I claimed a full refund via Monzo disputes and would urge anyone else to do the same. The OYO hotel group is a scam, not to be trusted.
Whole ‘hotel’ was a rabbit warren of unsafe botched repairs
‘Shower’
Huge windows not properly covered, one window was stuck wide open all night letting in cold & noise

OK for a budget hotel but needs work
I booked a room for an overnight stay to visit the dentist. At £40, even in February, one can't be be too picky about the quality. The paintwork in the room was tired, the fan in the bathroom on its last legs and very noisy, the carpet grubby. However the bathroom itself was very clean and the mattress newish and comfortable. The communal areas were OK, though the staircarpet was stained in places. Overall, OK for the price, but could do with some new (or cleaned) carpets, at least.

Simple Hotel In Town Has Only Lousy Ending
A room in November with no central heating? A bed which was so uncomfortable I would’ve been more comfortable on a bench along the seafront. Reckon less that 10 guests were here. Rooms without occupants were left with doors wide open. Over £10 to park on street - no visitor passes or subsidised arrangements
Had to ask for heater as NO CENTRAL HEATING.

The curtains would not open. Only one of the sash windows opened and only ajar. The heating could not be switched off making the room too hot. There was a punch hole in the bathroom door. There was a leak in the shower. The communal carpets were dirty. Parking is available but for a fee which was not made clear. There were occupants arguing outside. This review would not enable me to upload photos I took.

*** Stop Sell, this is no Hotel ***
** Expedia ** STOP SELL This is at best a boarding house —- Certainly NOT a Hotel Unsafe ( loose stairwell railing ) Unused medicine left in room - Bathroom not serviced… unclean. Unhygienic ( Toilet that flushes but does not effect its job ) Beading that is stained & has holes .. as does the carpet ( if you can call what is on the floor carpet ) Window in the room that would not close, so cold & noisy … Broken & boarded up windows in stairs List too long Night porter 10/10 Location great Badly in need of a full renovation

You get what you pay for, staff were all helpful and happy, bed linen was clean, tea and coffee making facilities were good. The decor was old and tired and the place has seen better days. I was staying for 1 night and it was fine.

A tired, slightly shabby but reasonably clean hotel. great location out of town but walking distance. Near to Beach. Staff were nice and it was quiet. Things like carpets, plug sockets, general décor, TV's could do with modernising but in the whole not too bad

Bad experience
Made a booking for 2 nights, Had to leave after 1 night, Due to the property not having a heating in the room, its was extremely cold, Asked reception if they there was a way to heat up the room, Was told no, It doesn’t work… Very disappointing due to how much I paid for the stay

To 'crash' for one night it was bearable, but the decor was shabby and tired, no internal door chain in room, toilet cistern was wobbly, bath side panel was dirty/ damaged.

The room was UNCLEAN and smelled of cigarette smoke. Thankfully the bedding and towels were clean. The dirtiest part of the room was the ensuite bathroom that had black mold on the tiling and grouting. The curtains were also too short for the windows.

We had a warm welcome on check in, in the room we found two dirty towels, a dirty glass, a dirty bath which hadn’t been cleaned properly and two dirty cup, more attention to cleanliness inspection before allowing your guests into the room, which can give your establishment a bad name and bad reviews.
